Any breastfeeding mama should have at least one, if not two sets of these! I absolutely love them for storing pumped milk! No more flimsy bags that may leak. These are a great thickness and capacity for storing milk for baby. I’ve had no problems using these, from pouring the milk in, warming milk in them, and cleaning. Any crevices the bags may have are expanded when milk is poured into it, the same goes for hot water when you’re cleaning it. It’s easy to use a bottle brush and clean the inside with soap and water. These are so much better than disposable breastmilk storage bags. They can also function as puree storage bags when baby begins solids. I’d consider these a necessity for any breastfeeding mom that pumps and stores milk, working moms who have to send milk to a sitter, or moms who make homemade baby food and need a snack for baby on the go!

Good with one major flawâ¦
Weâve used the haakaa breat milk storage bags for close to two weeks now, including on our first roadtrip with our 4 month old. While at home (and in the past) weâve used the Philips Avent disposable milk storage bags. While great (and very sterile), they obvious generate a lot of waste AND can be a little cumbersome to use when on the go (the bags themselves are very thin). Enter the haakaa Happii storage bags. These are really good quality, and well designed. The reusable and easy to clean parts of it are major pros, as is the portability and general design. The markings are legible (and mostly accurate) while they fold/roll up super small when not in use. The included cardboard tags are also a nice touch. They tend to be a little bit unstable when full of milk but certainly more manageable than the Philips Avent disposable ones.That being said there is one major flaw, and thatâs the included cap/lid. Itâs made from the same silicone material as the body and as a result is just as flexible/pliable. Since it is NOT a screw-on cap, you need to pry it open and press it close. Unless you remember to NOT fill it to its capacity (sorta defeats the purpose?) Iâve had an 80% probability of spilling milk when I have to pry open the cap. i really wish the cap was a little firmer and threaded. Keep this in mind for what is otherwise a very good product!

Nice reusable milk storage “bag”
I like the idea of being able to reuse milk storage bags but I think the idea is better than the reality. They seem kind of hard to clean because of the bottle shape so it’s hard to scrub inside them well. Additionally, since they aren’t clear, it’s hard to ensure they are thoroughly clean.There are good things though. I much prefer the idea of storing breastmilk in food grade silicone rather than questionable plastic. The bags are easy to pour from and have a tight seal so I don’t see leakage being an issue. You can press out extra air so they can take up less space than storing in a bottle.I probably won’t end up using these too much and will just stick with glass mason jars but it could work better for someone who is transporting milk more often and worried about glass jars breaking.

Since my little one has stopped breastfeeding. I was using plastic disposable milk storage bags to hold broth, which is used to cook noodles and porridge for my baby. As we all know, the plastic milk storage bag cannot stand on the table on its own, and the opening is small, making it very difficult to pour liquids into it, and cannot be heated directly. However, this haakaa happii bear silicone storage bag just solves all these problems. They are very easy to clean. Fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Everything of them is of high quality. I like the wide neck opening and lid design which makes pouring liquids into it so much easier. It also has a matching bottle nipple that can be purchased for additional use. If you are using it to store breast milk, you can switch the lid to a matching bottle nipple then your little one can drink directly through it. That will be definitely so convenient. I wish I had it when I was still breastfeeding. Highly recommend!!! Love it!!!

Ever since the haakaa manual pump and collector, this has been the brand i’d grab for any early feeding needs. Gifts, too. So quite excited to see the haakaa products have a large dose of cuteness.Such a cute bear, reusable and markings for measurements. Easy to pour with wide neck. There is a fill line to accomodate expansion during freezing. Great to use as food pouch, or juice container. Any can even double as a hot/cold compress, or freeze to make into an ice pack. There’s a carrying strap, and as expected from haakaa: fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. Haakaa is a trusted and recognizable brand in this space so, because of their reputation, I did expect a lot from them.I arrived quickly, no problems, and everything was in good condition. I like that there wasn’t any unnecessary plastic packaging in the box, which definitely matches what the brand is going for. It also comes with a set of tags to help you keep track of what you stored when. The pouch itself is super cute and feels pretty sturdy despite feeling like a thin silicone. It doesn’t leak, even when you’re squishing the full bag and the air doesn’t escape when sealed and empty so it’s super airtight to keep in freshness. I also like that you can use it as a food pouch later on to extend its life.The only thing I would nitpick is that I wish the rim was slightly bigger. I didn’t find it difficult to fill but a slightly bigger rim would make it SUPER easy to fill. Other than that, it checks all the boxes for me and I’m super happy with it.
