This was the greatest buy. So glad I tried it out. The haakaa pump works great. The ladybugs collect a lot of milk that would of been wasted. Huge recommendation for all breastfeeding mama’s.

I cant go without now
I love Haakaa. The ladybugs are awesome for on the go, night time, and general leakage, but I don’t recommend them for collecting large amounts, I use them mostly when I go out, I can just pop them off and dump into a bottle when I feel they are full. Be mindful they look funny under a shirt, but I have managed to find a couple shirts that are loose or flowy up top where they aren’t as noticeable.The bottle is the true game changer. I had my first kid 11 years ago, I wish so much this kind of thing was around back then. Electric pumps have improved tremendously but are still so rough on the nipples, while the haakaa just takes advantage of how our breasts work and don’t hurt or over pump or chafe.My baby needed a little extra help eating at first, but doesn’t want to latch very well. So I had started with an electric pump, but within a week was chafing and worried about infection. When my haakaa came I started using it to pump the other breast of whatever one she was latched on, and offering her that from a bottle if she was still hungry. She is a month old now and it has let my chafed nipples heal because it gives them a break from her latch and has helped maintain a steady amount of production. This might not be an option if you want to exclusively breastfeed or your baby refuses a bottle. I did breastfeeding exclusively with my first kid but this time it just wasn’t going to be an option. That said I truly believe the haakaa is the only reason I’m able to continue giving my milk.Silicone makes is easy to clean, but a bottle brush is needed if you don’t want cramped fingers. Also, wrapping the baby help keep the haakaa from getting kicked off and spilling

life saver
This is amazing for early on postpartum whenever you wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night and the baby is just tired/hungry enough to feed on one side and go back to sleep. for me it was a lifesaver. I was able to just use it before feeding the baby sometimes and then nursing afterwards to release the discomfort of being full totally worth it and the ladybugs are a nice touch to be able to slip in your shirt whenever youâre not able to nurse and you are out and about. I wore bigger shirts, so they were a little more discreet.

Great product
Great product. Put one of the Ladybugs on the other boob when I’m breastfeeding and I save the milk. It’s a great product. Totally recommend. The Haka is great also works when you are breast feeing and put on the other. It works. Saves the milk and get to store it. And use when I need it.

This little pump is absolutely perfect. The level of suction is just what I need; itâs silent, so I can pump at odd hours without making any noise; no assembly required!The lady bugs are not as effective suction wise, which is the only reason I didnât give five stars, but still good for excessive leakage. Iâve immediately ordered a second Haaka.Again, no assembly, no cables or cords, no moving parts- absolutely simplified. Very pleased with this one!

Works when traveling or breastfeeding
The main collector is more powerful than smaller first release of item. The ladybugs are not beveled so the silicone may cut into skin. It irritates my nipples and they donât stay on well. I have a different one that is flat and has better suction than these. But they do great to collect if you canât pump right away.

Love my haakaa. Needed a new one. Lady bug doesnât hold much but I use it at night for extra collection. Donât use the lady bugs as much but use the Haakaa religiously. Not sure what Iâd do without it!
