Great alternative to nursing pads!
I am on week two of my EP journey, and the most annoying part is waking up in the middle of the night to soaking wet breast pads and bra.I saw there were mixed reviews on rather these will be suitable for sleeping and I decided to give the shell and ladybug combo a try. I put one on each breast and alternate them every night. I can confirm that as a side sleeper and occasional back sleeper, these work perfectly! There was no leak at all and I was able to capture ~2 oz of milk in 2-3 hrs before my pumping session alarm goes off.I noticed each collector get around the same amount even though only the shell is designed with a stronger suction that can be marketed as a “pump”. But ultimately the other “passive” side will get similar amount of let down that gets collected in the ladybug. The only thing that’s a bit weird is the feeling of your nipples feeling off-balanced due to the inequivalent suction feeling of each breast.Genius invention of a product! It gave me way more confidence and energy boost to start/continue my EP journey.

I am a huge fan of the Haakaa brand. Their items are made with careful consideration for the needs of moms and babies. These shells are such a must have item. They collect milk from let down so the liquid gold doesn’t go to waste. They fit very comfortably inside a bra. Cleaning them is super easy as well.
