Great for avoiding plastics
I use these for storing pumped breast milk in the fridge and freezer to avoid keeping the milk in plastic long (just during pumping). They stand well to pour the milk in and stay upright in the freezer. I like that they come with tags to mark date/time, but the tags do have ml so I typically cross it out and write oz since that’s what I go by.I recently got the alternate cap option that is a spout for purees so I’m excited to use these as pouches since pouches are my baby’s favorite thing ever.The only downside to silicone is I seem to have high lipase in my frozen milk and these hold onto the smell a bit after washing so take a bit more than a simple wash to deal with, I soak with diluted vinegar and that’s helping. But that isn’t an issue with these specific pouches, just the nature of silicone so no points off for that.
