Simple to use and very quick
I was loosing my mind trying to boil the parts that are used for feeding our little one. No one has that kind of time and there had to be a better way. Enter the Haakaa silicone microwave steamer and sterilizer bag. Iâm not concerned about steaming but I did get it to be able to sterilize baby bottles and feeding parts.This little bag is so good at what it does and its so simple! Add a bit of water to the fill line, add in the stuff that needs to be sanitized (after washing them of course) and then close the Ziploc style bag and put it into the microwave for 5 minutes. Thatâs all the time it needs. Just 5 minutes. Want to have peace of mind, do 6 minutes.I have a bigger sanitizer for the bottles and other parts but not everything fits in there. This silicone microwaveable bag allows me to sanitize the parts that donât fit. If anything, Iâd suggest getting the bigger bag as youâll end up wanting it so you can sanitize more things this easily.Silicone itself is heat resistant and doesnât leach any particles like plastic does so its great for sanitizing stuff. Also, itâs a sanitizing bag which I think helps it self-clean in a way. Be careful opening it though as there is a lot of steam â which is a good thing. Love this sanitizing silicone bag, just get the bigger size.

Dual purpose
I ordered this Haakaa Silicone Microwave Steamer Bag to use as a steamer, and as a reusable bag.So many microwave steamer bags are single use, so I love that this one is reusable! While I’m not using this for sterilizing bottle parts, I am using it for steaming veggies and food storage. I absolutely love that it does double duty – I can store and steam in the same bag reducing the number of items I need in my kitchen.I used this to tote along snack on a walk to the park with my pre-k kiddo and the generously sized bag held two large apples (whole.) I appreciate the handle (which is why I opted to take it on our walk, along with the zip seal and flap closure.

Mighty Steamer Bag!
This product was received as part of a promotion. I have used steaming bags in the past but they werenât reusable. I came across this & had to get it. I can say WOW. Itâs a great steaming bag. I enjoy I can sterilize pump parts, food, etc. in it. It comes with a fill line. It can also be used in the fridge, freezer, microwave, to boil water, and is dishwasher safe. I love that itâs versatile. It also comes with a good handle and a circular addition to be able to hang up (i.e. a wall in the kitchen, etc.). I love that itâs reusable. So many things now are being made to where theyâre more sustainable & this is one of them. I love that Iâll be able to get many repeated uses out of it. I like the material itâs made out of (food-grade silicone) & that itâs BPA/Phthalate/PVC-free. Itâs simple to use and would make a great baby shower gift. This is definitely an item Iâll be recommending to other Moms in the future!

Multifunctional, great way to avoid more plastics.
I’m trying to switch away from a lot of plastic products and this solved several problems for me – both sterilizing baby items (bottles/teethers/pacis/etc) and helping with meal prep. I don’t have to use those convenient but pricy and chemical-laden plastic sterilizer bags, nor do I have to nuke my vegetables in those plastic steamer bags from the grocery store. Anything you want steamed or sterilized, just pop it in this bag and follow the instructions. Clean up is super easy, too! Well worth both the price and peace of mind.

Perfect for travel!
I have really loved the disposable steamer bags in the past for sterilizing bottles/pacifiers, etc. on-the-go, other than the fact that they are wasteful. This is a fantastic replacement! Easy to use for sterilization, and bonus you can even steam veggies in it too! This would make a great baby shower gift as it is so practical and will get tons of use!
