SAFE AND SECURE SLEEP SOLUTION: The Original Halo Sleepsack Swaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib, creating a safer sleep environment. Endorsed by hospitals nationwide to promote safe and restful sleep for your baby.
SOFT AND STRETCHY COTTON: Made from 100% cotton with a double-knit construction, offering a cozy and slightly stretchy feel perfect for swaddling. TOG Rating 1.5 (room temperature of 68°-72°F): Suitable for cooler evenings during spring or fall.
3-WAY ADJUSTABLE SWADDLE DESIGN: Generously sized fasteners allow a perfect, customizable fit. Adjust the swaddle for Arms-In to reduce startle reflex, One-Arm-Out hand to face for self-soothing, or Two-Arms-Out to transition to the Halo SleepSack, an easy transition when it’s time to stop swaddling.
CONVENIENT DIAPER DESIGN An inverted zipper opens from the bottom, allowing easy diaper changes without disturbing your baby’s swaddle. Sleeveless design minimizes overheating risk, while snug arm and neck openings ensure a secure fit.
SIZE NEWBORN – IDEAL FOR NEWBORNS (6-12 lbs): Specially sized for babies 0-3 months old, weighing 6-12 pounds, and measuring 19-23 inches. Discontinue use when baby begins rolling over or attempting to escape from the swaddle.
Customers say
Customers find the design adorable and the fabric breathable. They also mention it’s lightweight. However, some customers report issues with the fabric sticking to the Velcro, coming apart within a week, and feeling cheap. Many also mention concerns about the size and fabric pull.

Easy to use
I got the pattern that is made of muslin cloth. I use thicker cotton swaddles too, but when my baby is wearing a onesie in them, he gets too hot. The muslin cloth Halo swaddle seems more breathable without making him too hot. Itâs very easy to use. My baby tends to eventually get his hands out of swaddles, but with this one, he rarely does.

Breathable, Lightweight Love it
I love the Halo sleep sack swaddle blankets. The only problem is my newborn is very warm all the time even in an air conditioned home. The original Halo material is so thick, she ends up sweaty after every nap. Iâm really glad I did some research and found this thinner 100% Cotton Muslin material. Itâs breathable and super lightweight. There isnât much stretch to it, which is understandable itâs not made to stretch much. (I just hope it doesnât shrink after washing) Thereâs more room for her feet to move around compared to the old design. So far, very happy with the way it fits.

Fell apart quickly
I love the cotton Halo sleepsacks; however, the quality of the cotton muslin version is extremely disappointing. The muslin is so threadbare that the slightest movement causes tears/pilling. It is impossible to pull the velcro off the fabric without causing significant damage. I tried returning the item; however, because I had already opened it, I was only eligible for a replacement. From now on, I will stick with the 100% cotton sleepsacks!

Velcro pulls at muslin material
This sleep sack works really well, but I find that the Velcro can stick to the muslin material and pull at the threads. The regular cotton sleep sacks work much better for us. We struggled with using the swaddle set up, but as a regular sleep sack it worked fine.

Durability??
I bought this lion swaddle but Iâm not sure about the muslin fabric. The Velcro keeps sticking to it and seems to pull at the threads also. Super cute but I wonât buy this kind of fabric again for this price. My other halo swaddle in the solid fabric is amazing though.

Bad quality
I have a gray halo sleep sack I got on Babylist which I love. I wanted another one to use while it was in the wash but the one I ordered off Amazon was much lower in quality. It has a single zipper that clasps at babyâs neck (horrible idea) and the muslin sticks to the Velcro causing the fabric to snag instantly. It has already started to fall apart in the first hour of use.

Perfect for little one
I use this every night, it keeps my little one warm and safe. He loves it and won’t sleep without it. I love that it’s lightweight material so baby doesn’t get too hot in the summer time.

Worked well.
Was great! We tried to swaddle him but it kept coming undone so Our pediatrician recommended this one. He was snuggled in nicely so his reflexes didnât wake him. After a couple months we stopped using the sleep sac and he was fine. Did not need a transitional one.Would recommend this . We only had one and it worked just fine.

Bought the lion print which is a different material from the others it seems. Itâs like a linen blend or something and after one wash the seams started coming apart leaving holes in it. Bought the star print which is cotton and fine

We purchased this swaddle a few days ago for our newborn since we already had a thicker Halo swaddle that he loved. We have used it only for a few days and already the material is showing tattered edges and signs of tearing in the back. There’s also very little stretch to this material compared to the other Halo swaddle we already have. For the price, I would have expected something more durable.

The quality it very bad! Havenât even used it and thereâs holes already! I think they need to use another type of fabric to make it!
