Perfect for jogging with our dog
My husband and son both enjoy going for a run and our dog absolutely loves going with them. We have tried other dog leashes in the past when jogging however this one is more comfortable as it can be worn either around the waist or across the body. This gives the runner more control over the dog (such as when our dog becomes distracted by another dog he sees) but it also is convenient in that there is the handle on the strap in case we need to reign in the dog while out walking. This is well made and durable and we absolutely love the reflective strip (something our previous dog leash did not have), which makes it easier to take our dog out when the sun is setting or if it grows dark. This is also great for having our hands free such as when we are walking in the rain and it makes it so much more convenient to carry an umbrella and I a not getting wet. It also makes it easy for me to check my phone while out walking our dog and not worrying about dropping the phone or losing my grip on the leash handle.The strap is adjustable which is another bonus and it also has a sturdy buckle which prevents the leash from detaching from our dogs harness. This also provides a great deal of security for when we are walking our dog, when if, for example, he is distracted by other dog and begins to pull on the leash, we are confident that he will not be able to escape. Overall this is a definite winner and it is getting much more use than the other leashes we have. This is a total winner and something that every dog owner should have.

Nice alternate to a regular dog leash especially when using chest harness for your dog
I have a puppy that has a chest harness, and it has been challenging at times to walk the dog as he likes to pull ahead. I learned the chest harness can encourage that behavior.Well, enter this hands-free leash works great as now he is pulling against my torso vs on my hand, so it is much easier to deal with.I like the adjustability and the neoprene padding, so it is not uncomfortable to wear (I was wearing as hoodie) as it does not rub against the neck. If it did, I think the neoprene helps. However, I can see that with larger dogs, it could be a challenge and may hurt your neck with the potential constant rubbing.The clip is on a swivel and is very heavy duty, so I think it is much more than I need for my small dog, but I think that for the larger dog, this is plenty strong.I like having both hands free as that allows more room for reacting if something happens and perhaps if you are one who walks and uses your phone, this makes it a little easier.

Thick, tough, adjustable no-hands leash
This leash is made of thick, tough nylon. It’s not going to break or even rip without a whole lot of pressure being put on it. It’s well constructed, with a bit of cushion inside at the point where it would go around your waist or across your body. The hardware is sturdy metal or heavy plastic. The D ring isn’t just a clip, it has a screw to lock it. There’s a clip for a seatbelt to keep your dog secure in the car. Finally, it has a hand hold you can grab if you need more control of your dog or need to pull him/her in closer to you.This would be better for a larger do. Probably more leash than you’d need for a chihuahua. But my long-legged terrier mix (only 18 lbs) is a strong, powerful animal for his size and this will keep him safely attached to me when we’re out walking and allow me to swing my arms freely to help with my cardio.If you have big or strong dogs and you take them to exercise rather than just for a pleasure stroll, this leash is an absolute must. Well-constructed with lots of options for different ways to use it. Highly recommended.

Versatile and sturdy
I was looking for a good hands-free leash and found this one, which is perfect – the car seatbelt is just the icing on the cake. It’s nice to have one product that serves both purposes because I’ve been getting buried in dog stuff ever since I adopted my pupper.I really like the cross-body option for the hands-free leash. For me, it just feels more natural. I also appreciate the reflective material in the leash since my pupper and I take a walk around the neighborhood most nights if the weather’s not too bad.As a seatbelt, this gives me an extra layer of security. Sirloin tends to slide around a bit, partly because he has hip dysplasia, and having a backseat hammock plus a car seat plus a seat belt leaves him safely free to play with a favorite toy and watch the scenery go by when we’re driving.
