Ok, so l can’t give an honest opinion on this shampoo without a skunk. Fortunately or unfortunately how everyone will look at it, my daughter’s dog loves chasing skunks and has become quite the expert. He manages to find a skunk every 6 months or so, usually at around 11:30 p.m. on his last potty break of the night, right before they go to bed. I’m hoping this works and will eliminate the current concoction they use as a remedy.I will update as soon as he finds another skunk. it’s just a matter of time……

Smells great!
This shampoo is a lovely coconut scent, so you know it doesn’t just mask the skunk smell with crazy perfumes. We got it because we live out in the edge of the country with a family of skunks under our shed: boy are we glad we got it! Works on both animals AND people…

Happy Jack Mephidide Anti Skunk Shampoo for Dogs, Cats, Pets â Hypoallergenic Skunk Odor Remover for Dogs â Deodorizing Dog Shampoo (16oz) -My dog has a certain unpleasant smell. I think it is part of his fur. I decided to get this shampoo and see if it will help remove some odor. Brought him to the groomers yesterday and asked them to use this shampoo after everything is done. He went home smelling good, because of course he just got groomed. I think the shampoo may have also helped in a way. I cannot smell that awful scent, but I hope it remains this way.

Fortunately, my dog has not been sprayed again since receiving this. The product has a nice smell. I am on the ready for when needed again.

Not really hypoallergenic but works
Happy Jack Mephidide Anti Skunk shampoo for dogs cats pets hypoallergenic odor remover for dogs 16oz. The bottle came as-pictured online but a little banged-up from shipping with a dent in the side. It had an inner security seal, which I appreciate, and that was intact.I got this shampoo for our new 6 month old puppy who is a surprising stinky little dog for his age. Donât ask me why!? Hopefully neutering will help but in the meantime we have this stuff a try. The shampoo itself smells good/kinda perfumy. It lathered well and took a few passes to rinse out. His fur was left smelling pleasant and fresh. Even days later!!My pet peeve(no pun intended) is this product claims to be âhypoallergenicâ but yet contains sulfates, chloride, dyes(Yellow 5, Red 40), artificial fragrance, and other irritants. It did in fact irritate my pupâs skin a little as he kept shaking and scratching the night after his bath(but was fine the following days). So I will only be using this occasionally. I donât recommend using it more than once or twice a month if your pup has sensitive skin. In the end, it did the job required of it, but is a bit on the pricey side(18$ at the time of ordering), imo. I would recommend if you have a naturally smelly dog or live in an area with lots of skunks.

Good first impressions
My dog recently got sprayed by a skunk and I have been looking for something easier than making my own concoctions to battle the smell. I am hopeful about this shampoo. I am hoping to never use it, but if it works as claimed, we have found a winner. If my dog gets sprayed again, I will definitely report back.

We live out in the country and have a skunk that passes through up near the house on the regular. So far, we have only smelled his presence and have been fortunate that the dogs nor I have surprised it. It’s winter time now so it hasn’t been around but in preparing for the upcoming Spring I thought it would be wise to get some of this anti skunk shampoo in case it is needed in the future. All three of my dogs are house dogs so it would be an urgent matter in getting them deskunked as soon as possible. Very happy to have this shampoo – in case.

So comforting to have
Sometimes when I open the back door to let my dogs out I can smell a skunk is near. They race out because they have to go do their business after being in all night. Iâm so fearful one or both will get sprayed. Iâve been through home remedies in the past that help but the smell literally has to wear off. Iâm so grateful to have this shampoo on hand. I hope it works as well as if I took them to the groomers for this service. The shampoo smells good and you get a generous amount. Iâm very happy to have it. I only hope I will not have to use it.
