Hartz UltraGuard Rid Flea & Tick Oatmeal Dog Shampoo provides your pup with relief from fleas and ticks. The cleansing formula kills fleas and ticks through contact. This shampoo is enriched with oatmeal to help provide soothing relief from itchy or irritated skin. Made for dogs or puppies 6 months of age and older. To use, wet pet’s coat thoroughly with water and rub shampoo into coat, ensuring not to get suds into the eyes. Massage from head to tail until coat is completely covered with a foamy lather. Let stand or continue to massage for 5 minutes. Rinse and towel dry. Repeat weekly if necessary.

Works great!
Recently, I got a new puppy. Curtesy of my neighbors who dropped him outside my house in the snow. Yes I am upset about that. Anywoo my puppy has fleas. I gave him a Capstar and started him on prevention. I ordered this shampoo and used it on him. It is a good shampoo. It doesn’t leave a medicated odor on him and love that. It left him with a nice clean body. It was not heavy at all. I have always used this when I have a pet with fleas. I will continue to do so.

Smells good
I bought this to shampoo my dog to PREVENT fleas and ticks. Since I didn’t see any fleas on him to start with, I can’t really say if it kills them. It does smell nice though and is easy to lather him up. I would buy it again. It seems gentle enough for his sensitive skin.

Good product for a fair price
Found a couple of fleas on my boys they were not happy! The oatmeal soothed their skins and their fur looks great and no little buggers found after their baths. I used other products (I bought at Amazon) to ensure continuing flea free.And the smelled good and yes they forgave me for bathing them!

I noticed 3 fleas over the last week on my dog. I ordered this shampoo and a treatment to try before going to a bather. It worked immediately, one literally made an appearance on my dog’s face right as we were drying him off! It smells nice too, and has a nice sud to it, usually pet shampoos don’t get very bubbly. His fur is soft and 24 hours later I see no fleas.

I ended up with 2 dogs with fleas. This shampoo has helped a lot! One dog has gotten baths every 3-4 days and the other when the weather is 65+degrees cuz shes too big for the sink. It really does kill the fleas , nits and larve – can’t attest to the eggs.

My dog sits patiently as I hose her down in the bathtub with a hand sprayer. Giving me ‘the look’ ! She doesn’t complain, but shakes and gets me soaked, too ! This product is mild, does the job, and she smells much better after the bath. She knows that I’m trying to help soothe the annoyance of fleas. I do prescribe to the notion that: ‘Dog is Mans Best Friend !’. This proven product works as directed ! Thank You !
