Leash came as described and the whale is very cute. Using for my cat. retractability feature is a bit harsh for a cat but would be no problem for any small dog. Overall good product thank you

Solid enough retractable leash
We’ve been using this for our cats, and it’s held up well. It is easy to operate, and frankly it’s adorable. It doesn’t feel too tight on the retracting bit, and the lead length is appropriate, I’d say. I can’t really think of any complaints, though I can’t comment if it can hold up to a heavy dog yanking on it.

Sometimes the leash doesn’t retract. We can usually get it to retract again, but it’s a bit annoying it gets stuck to begin with. Very cute whale design though.

Great shorter length retractable leash
This is a great retractable leash for travel or anytime you need to keep your pet a little closer to you. I use a longer one (16ft) for our daily walks around our quiet neighborhood.This shorter one is great for travel or places that are more active and you don’t want your dog wandering quite so far away.It feels very sturdy and fits well in your hand. The brake button and lock work flawlessly and easily.Highly recommended!

Missing side cover right out of the original box
Seems to be a decently made, well functioning leash, however it was completely missing a side cover right out of the original box. Disappointing to say the least. EDIT: received a replacement leash in 4 days & it has been functioning flawlessly for 3-4 weeks now. Ordered a second one after testing the initial order. Our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are very big dogs and these leashes are holding up well.
