Works well and easy to clean
We love this sturdy easy to use dog brush that works well and our dog loves the feel of being brushed with it as well! Then thereâs a wad of hair & push the button and the tines go away & your left with only the hair to wipe off and throw away -clean brush for next use Plus it was a great price too! Now after brushing regularly we donât see the hair all over everything!

AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS
So, I am positive every dog mom tries new brushes right before using the brush on the dog, right? LOL. Well I have to say it brushes human hair as well as my Aussies hair. Feels good on my scalp too, lol. I used it on two of my dogs and it is very easy to use. The push button works well and is comfortable. The hair falls right off dry and when wet just use your finger to wipe off easily. I highly recommend this brush for every day use. Get the bigger one for dogs 50 lbs and up or high shedders.

Works on a Great Pyrenees
We have 2 Great Pyrenees and both hate being brushed. We use the slick in addition to a comb and a rake. The previous slicker we used did not have any knobs at the end of the teeth on the brush and my dogs hated that brush, but it works so well on their long double coats. I caught my hand with the brush a few times and drew blood so I knew I needed another style.I picked this one since it has the little knobs at the end of the teeth, so it will be more forgiving against the skin. I liked the idea of the self cleaning brush. On the previous brush I would run the comb through it to remove the fur. With this brush, the button can be a little hard to engage/disengage. You slide the button forward and back. When it’s empty it moves ok, but when you have fur in the brush it only slides back to a point and you need to pull the fur out of the brush to completely retract the teeth. This is fine for me and certainly makes cleaning the brush easier. The size of the head is nice and large so it is great for larger dogs. The head is very think though to allow the teeth to retract. This makes the brush feel a little clunky, but otherwise pretty comfortable in the hand. The teeth themselves are flexible, which helps prevent scratching the skin, but I’ve noticed some of them are bent in the wrong direction, so I’m not sure how well the brush will hold up over time. Overall it’s a decent purchase. My dogs still hate being brushed but that is a work in progress.

I have tried EVERYTHING! I have a blind shorthair; Russian Blue and a longhair Ragdoll. Some brushes I just tossed didnât even return.LOVE this brush! It gets the job done easy. You donât have to hold a button down. It locks in place and is simple to discharge hair.Itâs big. Iâm going to get the smaller one as well. Yeah! They are so happy.

Whatâs not love !
My only regret , I should have ordered the small ! This is a very easy brush to use and no problem with retracting the bristles and presto no hair left in the brush . If you need a brush that easily removes the fur under the top coat this is worth trying !

This is not the main brush for the Maine Coone because too big to do all the nooks and crannies, or even just under the chin. But it is great for ‘finishing’ i.e. collecting loose hairs, and it really does the job. Very solid and the mechanism works great. The cat purrs and loves it – not true for some others that are cheaper but just break and/or annoy the cat so he runs away if he sees them.
