This is the most beautifully written/illustrated children’s book I have ever purchased.Bought it for my 6 month old Grandson. This is just an indescribably lovely book – in both imagery and words. I bought it initially as a gift for my first grandchild. Tears came to my eyes as I read it – the words beautifully capturing the shift in me over the course of a lifetime as reflected in what I wished for my granddaughter-to-be. I immediately purchased four more copies, one for me, one for each of my other two adult children who might one day have children, and one because I just felt like I needed an extra!.
