Does what it is supposed to do. It rolls randomly with a blinking LED, catches the attention of my panther (although “mistakenly” assigned to Felis Catus Domesticus at birth 3 months ago, she is in reality a trans-panther and prefers to be addressed that way).The down sides:1) battery could be bigger – because 30-40 minutes is just not enough.2) it’s mostly hard plastic – the downside of this is that it can’t ever be caught, there is nothing on the shell to sink a claw or tooth into.3) It makes no sound except for the rolling sound – there are two issues with this, a sound would help catch the panther’s attention, and an occasional sound (maybe an urgent tone every 1 minute after auto shutdown from low battery) would help me find it when it has gotten stuck someplace.4) after a week I think she may be getting board with it – at least compared to my toes, but my toes are always amazing, so there’s that.For the money, i say BUY IT.Now, if it can be designed with obstacle avoidance, automatically recharging, and a wifi map of my apartment… that would be awesome. But probably not at this price point.

Awesome Ball!! Kitten and 2 older cats love to chase it
We bought the interactive motion ball for our 3 cats for xmas. We have an 8 month old Tabby kitten, 5yr old Persian cat and 12 year old Maine Coon kitty. The ball has to be charged for 2.5 hours before it can be used. Once charged, we put it on our kitchen floor in front of all 3 cats and turned it on. At first the cats were surprised that a ball could move by itself without them swatting it. Then they began to chase it as it moved to our dining room and into our living room. If the ball gets into a spot it can’t move forward, the ball will back up and move on from there. My husband and I think its really neat and cats seem to really enjoy it. They played nonstop with the ball the first day for 30 minutes before they were tired out. The directions say with a full charge it can go for an hour to hour and half of full time play. My kitties were tired because of all excitement on xmas. Thank you for fast shipping and careful delivery and packing of the toy!! A+++. Would do business with you again!

Definitely worth it!
Very surprised how good of a product this is considering it’s so affordable. First of all, it goes a long time without needed to recharge, I’d say I used it for a could of days and a few hours at a time before I even thought about charging it. Secondly, it’s virtually indestructible. I’ll let it go around the house, it’ll bump into furniture or run into the walls and it simply changes direction. It wont damage anything, it’s pretty lightweight and slow moving. It keeps my cat intrigued for a while. Rather than chasing it (like I said, it’s pretty slow moving), she’ll just observe it and follow it around. I mainly got it for her so she won’t feel as alone when I’m at work. It’s also really good for dogs. However, it doesn’t work as well with carpet. It’s great on hard floors and flat rugs on hard floors. But with carpet, it’ll move very slightly. It still spins and lights up and makes noise on carpet, so that might be enough to keep your pet occupied. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t really beat the price either.

Cats seem entertained by it. They aren’t playing with it per say, but they do just sit and stare at it with interest for a half hour or so with the lights dimmed. Nothing the fault of the toy itself, every cat I’m sure is just going to react a different way. I’ll take what I can get as it’s hard to please cats so it was well worth it to me.

Great value for money. Arrived today been very gentle and curious at first but he loves it now. Moves by itself and great for his hunting instincts.

Works well. But my ferret didnt find it interesting to play with. I was hopping they play with.
