Cat did not like it
This carrier would work for small dogs like Yorkies or Chihuahua’s. It has a latch inside to attach to the collar. That’s the only way to secure your pet. As long as your pet is well-trained and won’t jump out, this would work. It has a heating pad at the bottom, but does not include the battery. That is an additional $30-$50 dollar cost, so keep that in mind. My cat does not like it, and she barely fits (she’s about 10 pounds). It does have a nice denim look, so it doesn’t look like a traditional pet carrier.

High quality and large enough for a 14lb ragdoll cat
Consider to bring my cat out in chill weather and this cat carrier is exactly what I want! The quality is exceptional, and every detail has been carefully crafted. It comfortably accommodates my 14lb Ragdoll and makes sure she won’t run away at the same time. The thick, warm material makes it perfect for chilly outings, and my cat loves it so much that he even snuggles inside when the carrier is just sitting around.

Small – Heats Poorly – Unsafe
I had high hopes for the iPettie heated cat/dog carrier, but I was disappointed. It is an innovative idea that is poorly executed.The carrier is soft sided and primarily made of a waterproof nylon material (exterior), and cotton-poly blend material (interior), poly foam and a nylon strap. The carrier is more like a large purse than a carrier. It is small – only 16 inches wide – big enough for a small toy breed – even better if they are teacup/mini size.OPEN TOP DESIGN (Bad and Unsafe): The design is marketed as being easy to get your pet in and out of, but it also makes it unlikely you can keep any pet that doesn’t want hangout in the bag. I tried it with my 3 cats and my son’s 2 Yorkies and when they decided the fun was over, they bailed and there was no way to keep them in the carrier. The thin safety strap is a joke. The open top design also means that the heat that is produced isn’t retained in the bag.HEATING (Lack of): The carrier is marketed as heated; however, it is not heated until you PROVIDE YOUR OWN POWER BANK (an additional $25+). Fortunately, I have several which allowed me to test the heating feature. Heat is produced by a USB A connection from your power bank, through small wires to a small coil attached to a piece of cardboard in the floor of the carrier. The heating is so poorly engineered, it never gets near the advertised temperatures on any setting. The little heat that is produced is primarily in the center of the carrier floor. The manufacturer used no heat conductive materials, so temperatures just 3 inches from the center of the carrier drop on average 10-12 degrees F and significantly more the further out. The primary purpose of the product is to heat, and it does it very poorly.MISSED THE TARGET: While I am always a thorough tester, I’m not normally critical of products. This time however, the engineer in me knows the manufacturer missed the target. A little better design, $1 more in parts and lot more testing could have produced a great product. As-is though, I recommend you avoid this product – you and your pets deserve better.

Does not secure the animal
This bag is very attractive and well made but unless you have a dog that likes to be carried around in a purse, this won’t work for you. Especially with cats. This is basically unusable for cats. The bag is open top with no way to zip it closed.The good:It’s an attractive bag that is thick and would be insulatingThe wires are all hidden so it would be hard for the animal to chewYou can take it apart for washingThe not so good:It’s very small, barely fits a standard sized catIt does not zip shut, open topIt does not come with a battery packThe heating pad on the bottom only heats in the center of the pad.The biggest deal breaker was the fact that you cannot secure your animal in this. It might work for a very small subset of pets, mostly tiny dogs that are content to stay in an open bag
