Money AND milk saver!
Not only do these save money, but the disposable bags always left milk trapped in them and these silicone bags pour out ever single drop! And, theyâre easier to control the pour flow from since they have some rigidity at the top compared to disposable bags. These are easy to clean with a bottle brush and stand up to dry even when empty! Pro tip: stick the locking piece in the bag with about a centimeter to an inch sticking out while they dry so they donât collapse inward. The sides are very bag like and feel thin but are really quite strong (I did a squeeze test.) they also hold more milk than the disposables, so I need less bags. The lock easily slides off and top opens with ease (donât squeeze with the lock off or itâll open!) they stand quite nicely and lay relatively flat for storing filled or empty. Once baby is older theyâll be great for snacks, as well!

I bought one pack initially and have since repurchased two more. These are a much better, eco friendly alternative to the plastic disposable breast milk storage pouches and I use them for expressing milk and storing in the fridge. No leaks so far and they seem quite sturdy. They are great value (I haven’t found anything cheaper) and silicone is more baby friendly than plastic. Wish I had found out about them earlier in my expressing journey! I also hope to use them later for pureed foods etc

Full disclosure: I don’t have a baby or breast milk. But I do have a great need for multifunctional freezer- and dishwasher-safe baggies for various liquid and semi-liquid concoctions. For that purpose, these bags are an absolute life-saver, especially a set of 7 for this price.The bags are quite thick, so there is very little risk of them puncturing or bursting accidentally in the freezer. They seem extremely durable. And they have a very secure closure: the bag itself gets pinched closed, and then a little slider goes on top to keep it closed. Even on its side, it’s not likely to spill.I love that they are dishwasher-safe, but you have to make sure they stay open through the washing cycle. I have to kind of secure them in the open position so the water reaches into them. Left to their own devices, they pop closed.But most of all, I love that you can stand them up on the counter, and they will stay up without flopping over. That really helps when you are holding the bag open with one hand and scooping things out of it with the other.The only complaint I have about these bags is that I wish there was a way to keep them open when needed. But that’s a minor complaint – as they are, they are really useful.
