Creative and Versatile, but Missing Pieces
Firstly, I love wooden toys for my kids, especially those that promote creativity and imaginative play. This building blocks set reminds me of Lincoln Logs, and I really like it despite some drawbacks. It allows my kids to build their own structures and also make other fun designs like chairs, tables, desks, beds, and more. I love that it can be played with in so many creative ways, encouraging interactive and imaginative play. If you have a second set, it becomes even more versatileâyou can create so much!The included booklet is a fantastic addition. It features a star rating system to indicate the difficulty of each build, with 1 star being the easiest and 5 stars the hardest. The booklet starts with step-by-step 3D instructions for basic designs, which is great for teaching kids how to use the pieces. It also explains how to make specific features like bridges, steps, windows, and doors. However, after the introductory section, most of the designs are only shown with a single picture and no step-by-step instructions. This can make it hard for kids, especially beginners, to figure out how to build more complex structures. Multiple angles or detailed instructions for the harder designs would make it much easier and more enjoyable.The age rating is listed as 3+, but I think itâs better suited for kids aged 5+ due to the complexity of some designs. Itâs a toy that can grow with your childâs skills, making it a great choice for ages 5-9.Unfortunately, I did run into a problem with missing pieces. My set was supposed to include two white rooftop pieces (as stated in the booklet), but I only received one. This meant we couldnât complete certain designs, like the chalet (rated 3 stars), or about 29 other designs that require that piece. Itâs disappointing not to have all the parts needed to fully enjoy the set.Despite these drawbacks, I still really love this set. Itâs an excellent toy for encouraging creativity and problem-solving, and my kids enjoy using it to build their own structures for imaginative play. If youâre lucky enough to get a complete set and are okay with figuring out some builds without detailed instructions, this is a fantastic toy that offers endless possibilities. With another set, the versatility increases tenfold, making it even more fun!

Quality wooden building set
This building set is extremely well made and includes the materials to build some really cool structures! I love that it comes with an idea book that has so many examples of ways to utilize the pieces. The include step by step instructions for a build and tons of examples of other creative builds. I actually got this so my teen could build a personalized structure for his pet mice. Definitely geared more towards older kids/adults as there a ton of pieces and steps to building actual structures.

High quality and good for creative play
The pieces of this set are surprisingly strong and sturdy, even the thinner ones. You get a good selection of different sized planks with notches that interlock. Some have holes to run the strings through for the bridges, with the strings being like thick, white shoelaces. There are two white, triangular pieces to make a roof and three green trees for scenery. Everything matches the listing very well. Included is a fantastic 33 page instructional booklet that gives building directions in full color, and with real photos. It shows numerous building options and projects, including some that require multiple sets to complete. The design is similar to Lincoln Logs, but more sophisticated and of interest to older kids as well. It says for ages 3 and up, but younger kids may need help with the set, especially lacing the strings into the holes. In my opinion, this set is best suited for kids 5 and older, maybe all the way to 12 years. Older kids may enjoy making their structures more permanent with glue and personalizing with paints. There’s a lot of creative options with this set, which also comes with a storage bag. It all comes in a nice, easy to wrap box for gifting, but it would be hard to get it all back into the box for storing.
