Bought this to use with my 3rd baby. The little mattress in it is very thin. Wouldnât be much of a difference if you just went without using the mattress. It was the perfect height for my bed. Made night time feedings very convenient and eased my mind being able to look over and see my little guy. The storage area underneath is fantastic! I was able to store extra swaddles and blankets there.
