JW store not selling comb pictured w/black rubber soft handle but new version of hard white plastic
I thought I was buying the original version of these flea combs to clean my cat’s face: the old handles were soft black rubber in an ergonomic grip-shape. They were once sold at Petco, + I had seen that these soft grip black rubber handles pictured in this Ad were being phased out for handles that had some black rubber but some hard yellow plastic which were not as comfortable. However, now JW has changed the handles of their assorted type combs a 3rd time to a hard, inflexible white plastic w/some blue coloration- they may have an ergonomic shape but are hard + uncomfortable.Younger people who are not familiar with the original soft black comfortable rubber ergonimic handles may be satisfied w/these new handles (which likely were much cheaper to manufacture), but these handles are hard + uncomfortable in comparison to the original black rubber grip handles. I had hoped this seller had the old fashioned rubber handles still in stock but I was wrong- the Ad photo did not represent the JW combs currently being sold by this site- they need to change the photo image in their Ad for these flea combs. See my photo of what I received against the Ad’s photo of the JW original comb which had a soft black rubber handle. This JW store on Amazon needs to change the photo of these combs in its Ad.
