Great training tool
I bought this for my working line GSD for training. Itâs awesome. The rope isnât too long to handle during training sessions but still long enough I donât lose a finger when paying out. The Kong holds up well, as expected. The only concern I would have for anyone would be the integrity of the rope on a heavy chewed which is the reason for the 4/5 star review. If used as a freely available toy left unattended with a moderate to heavy chewer the rope wouldnât last very long. But I do love it!

One tug and done
So disappointed seeing my 30 pound mal tug on this once and the rope know broke. Good thing it wasnât the 120 or 80 pound dudes. Literally one tug no shake and the Knot came undone. I tried to burn the ends but the rope is too cheap quality it was all cotton and just burned I couldnât get a wax end. Garbage but I guess we got a new ball even though we needed the tug for training before certs. I will make my own and never get this garage again

Rope is NOT chew proof
While we love the durability of most of the Kong products, only the black ball is chew durable. The rope threaded through is very easily torn apart. Surprisingly so- other Kong products have more durable rope material used.

Kong Dog toys are the best!
Iâve purchased Kong dog toys for aggressive chewers in the past and have always loved there quality. I like that my dogs a Pit bull and a Lab mix can chew and chew on these toys and cannot completely destroy them. This ball and rope are no different! These toys are made of some kind of super strong rubber where they satisfy their chewing urges. Its been a few months of hard chewing and the ball and rope are still intact! They are a little pricey but worth it to me vs other aggressive chewer dog toys that either get chewed up easily or are made of hard plastic. These are made of super tough rubber. My go to for aggressive chewer dog toys. Oh I buy the âBlackâKong Toys. They are the toughest of all ðð¼

Great but the rope wonât stay tied
My dogs love this when thereâs a rope on it, but arenât so interested when itâs just a ball. Unfortunately the rope doesnât last an hour before they can untie it again. I wish there was another option to keep it on.

Ball is strong for tough chewers, but my dog ate through the rope within 12 hrs.
Rope is not good . My pittie chewed right through it and got the ball off. He shredded the rope all over, its a huge mess. He really enjoys the ball though, which has been handling his chewing for 2 days now.

Top of the line
Ball is sturdy & takes a beating. Ball bounces & the rope is strong. Hasnât torn at all. Recommend this for aggressive go getter dogs playing fetch.

Extremely low quality product
After roughly 25 minutes of supervised play, the rope broke. There was no excessive chewing going on, and similar toys from other brands typically last a month in my house. So less than 24 hours after receiving this I essentially have a very expensive Kong ball with no rope. I would highly recommend another product, or just buying a dog rope and Kong ball separately and throwing them together yourself.
