KONG – Kickeroo Giraffe Pattern – Play Enticing Cat Toy, North American Premium Catnip

Been my cat’s favorite toy for years
I bought this for my cat back in 2017. He liked it right away and to this day it’s still his favorite toy (I actually took these pictures right before I wrote this review). He’ll just lay down, pull it into a chokehold, and then go to town kicking and biting it. He even gives it tongue baths after play sessions. You’d think he was a kitten and not a 16 year old adult with how he plays with that thing lol. Sometimes he’ll even sleep with his head resting on it.But despite years of routine play, the toy is still in great shape, and the only holes it ever gets is from me (sometimes I cut a small opening to add new catnip and then sew it shut).So if you’re looking for a good cat toy, I highly recommend this thing.

Kicking and Hugging!
Picked up one of the Tiger pattern at a store, along with other toys. All 3 kitties LOVED this. Great size: 11″ x 4″ pillow section, 7″ tail. They rush it, attack, bite and rabbit-kick the heck out of it. Then they curl up and hug it and use it for a pillow. It’s so adorable and hilarious to watch.Bought 3 more on Amazon (better price $5.99). 2 Giraffes and 1 Cow pattern, so this same review’s in all 3 products. The kitties don’t seem to have any preferences on the patterns.Durability – bought in July, it’s now October, and they all still look new, despite all the rough play with teeth and clipped claws. They still love them, and carry them in their jaws around the house, so we’re always finding them in the strangest places.Con: Can’t change the catnip, there’s no refillable pouch. Come on! Should be a given. Minus 1 star.Bottom line: 3 of 3 kitties approve. A definite hit in our kitty household.Edit: Aha, caught the end of a (17 lb) kitty play session on video! Enjoy.

Neat Little Things
I bought two of these, one for my five month old kitten and one for his 15 month old Maine Coon mother because they both love to kick when they play. As soon as they came into contact with them they loved them. They’re bigger than I expected which is great, and both of my cats love to kick it when they catch it in a ‘hug’ type grip. The loop/zip tie around the middle made it easy to attach a shoelace to allow for dragging it around so it can ‘escape’ and be a lot more fun for them. His mother especially has very sharp claws and teeth, and even though I’ve only had them for a day they’ve withstood being tugged on, chewed on, and kicked by their hindpaws so they’re definitely very durable!3 month edit:These lose their catnip smell very quickly but my female Maine Coon still loves to play with them. As for my tom, well instead of playing with his he’d rather spin around in circles holding it in his mouth, carry it to a corner, meow a little, and then hump it up against the wall. I can always tell when he’s at it again because he meows and chirps at it really loudly. But hey, at least it keeps him occupied. His mother won’t touch the one he plays with, but she’ll go crazy for the one I kept aside for only her. So I guess it keeps them both occupied. Glad I bought two instead of just the one. Neither is torn or worn out at all, they’re surprisingly durable.

Cat Toy
Cute, big, fluffy but I cannot get my cats to play with it. It is well made.

Som du kan se på videon så var den väldigt populär med min katt. Dock efter ett tag så tappar de intresset för den. Det är som att man måste spraya lite kattmynta på den då och då för att katterna ska använda den.

Il mio gatto ha 11 anni e ormai fa vita tranquilla, ma questo è l’unico gioco con cui ancora impazzisce, soprattutto quando è nuovo e il profumo di erba gatta lo sente forte. Lo abbraccia per scalciarlo, si struscia il muso e ci fa sopra la pasta.
