My frenchie is OBSESSED with this duck…it was his first toy given to him when we picked him up and he kneads and sucks on it to help him fall asleep….it’s the cutest thing. We bought more to have back ups because I don’t know what he would do without it. It is very small, smaller than what the picture looks like, so I would say this is only for small puppies/small dogs. He is also a pretty aggressive chewer with all his teething and still has not found a way to rip it or find the squeaker. He uses this as a comfort toy though so it could be different for another dog out there!

My Shihtzus favorite toy!
He has been obsessed with his ducky for many years, I like to buy extra for backup, I’m always afraid they stop selling and i can never find them again so I think I have 3-4 backup. They are durable though and perfect for him to carry around with his tiny mouth!Fyi. If your dog goes crazy with it at night instead of taking the toy away just take out the squeakers for the night, I first had to take it away so we can sleep but it broke my heart when he searched for it so I figured how to keep us both happy at night lol

Beloved Toy Despite Frail Squeaker
Our small dogs (11 & 14lbs) absolutely adore these toys so I had to give it 4-stars even though the squeakers are broken within a couple hours. Even so, these are household favorites and even after the squeakers are kaput they love to carry them around in their mouths and play keep away with them. They bring hours of joy! My one suggestion would be for KONG to invest in more durable squeaker designs. The plastic is very thin and easily flattened by exciting chewers. Iâve found I can stuff more robust squeakers in and they last a lot longer. The velcro opening is a great solution to replaceable squeakers.

great cat toy!
I was given this duck for my foster kittens along with some other toys. I put some catnip in the Velcro pouch where the squeaker is. One of the kittens plucked it out of the pile, ran off with it, and it has been His Duck ever since. (He’s the one in the photo, about 4.5 pounds.) My mom saw the videos of my foster kitten and thought her adult cat would also like it, so I purchased it for her… and yep it’s a hit with her cat, too. It’s a really good size for cats who like to pick up their stuffed toys to carry in their mouths, and the lack of stuffing makes it a little bit easier for grasping but it’s not floppy. We haven’t had them long enough to tell long-term durability, but it’s taken a lot of biting and kicking so far and it’s certainly moving around our respective houses as the cats play.
