Cats seem to like this
The comb allows for fine combing and grabs excess hair and fleas. It’s easy to handle and the cats seem to like the feel of it. It’s a good value and I like the color. The handle is not too small. I misplaced my gray handled one –so decided to get the green color to see easily. I had to de-flea a cat that had a lot of flea dirt also and probably wouldn’t tolerate a bath. This worked well for removing the debris also.

The making is 1st rate and they even get the baby fleas. Fine teeth and narrow gaps. I’m going to leave another brand only 3 stars [Yanflan ?] because it has larger diameter teeth and a couple of thousandths wider gaps. Yes, these are the better of the two I bought on the same day.

Heavy duty flea comb for cat or dog
This flea comb is not as flimsy as the one I had before that bent. I can use this on my cat or dog and because they come in a 3 pack I can always find one!

Not just for animals
I love the fine teeth on these which are very useful for my own hair when styling my long hair into a bun. I have very thin hair so it is hard to keep skin from showing when combing the hair into an upsweep with a normal comb. But when I use the flea comb, there are no gaps and no skin shows through. Plus, these are very durable and washable when they become caked with hair spray. (I use a nail brush to clean them.) Also, as a side note, I did get one for the neighbor’s unkempt cat, and was able to round up several of the little flea critters that tormented him. So it is a dual-purpose comb, and I highly recommend it. Note: Even though it should go without saying, do not use the one you used on the cat (or dog) on yourself unless you have thoroughly cleaned it first.

Easy to use but isnât sturdy
I went through all three and had the same issue. The metal bristles keep bendingâ¦. After it bends, you canât fix it to its original condition!
