Best leash on the market!
I have searched high and low for a good leash, but I havenât found one. I have found THE one! The best one! This leash is top dog! (Get it?) It has it all!Not only is the leash strong and durable enough for our active 55 pound pup, but it also looks amazing! The leashâs collar hook is reinforced with gorgeous hardware that keeps the hook from coming off of her collar, AND BEST OF ALL, it has a bright, rechargeable flashlight and beautiful neon lights on each side that you can color customize or make flash to alert cars and other foot traffic aware youâre there, which makes our evening, late night, and early morning walks a breeze! No more needing two hands to hold a flashlight!Iâve already had several neighbors and dog lovers ask me where I got my leash! When I purchased it through Amazon, I even got it in half the time it said it was going to take to be delivered! I really wanted to like this
Product looks great but ultimately doesn’t deliver on its core function: serving as a leash.Pros:* Sleek design (visually)* Very bright flashlight* Clip for hanging nags.Cons:* Leash mechanism jams up and then comes “unstuck” randomly, creating a VERY DANGEROUS situation where you think it is locked, and then the dog pulls and is free to run into traffic. I returned the first one because of this issue, and the second one had the same fault within 4 days. Clearly a flawed design.* Handle is a little cramped if you have larger hands.* On/off switch for LED is easily triggered, toggling on the ridiculous and unnecessary “rainbow light show” on the base unit.

Not for small dogs
So Ive tried a few of these kinds of combo leashes, and I actually really liked this one the best. The flashlight is actually bright and I like the different colors on the body of the leash…but it’s big and heavy and unwieldly. Why are there no small sizes? This one said it was for small and medium dogs but this could double as a self defense weapon, it’s that heavy! My little chihuahua didn’t have to pull so much that she was choking herself, like one of the other combo leashes I tried, but she still had to pull hard enough that was constant, low-key tension on her collar. This is perfect for larger dogs, but this is not a small dog size, as advertised.

Brightest light on a retractable leash (and we’ve gone through seven retractable leashes in eight months), comfortable grip, securing link is excellent, but the actual cable cannot handle a large dog. Excellent buy if your pet weighs 85 lbs or less or if they are a mellow, laid back fur baby that chases nothing.
