Works great, smart idea
This collar works great for when I let my dog out in the front yard at night. He’s really not supposed to be out front without a leash at all due to the leash laws around here, but sometimes at night when I know no one is around, I will let him follow me outside when I take the trash bins to the curb. He enjoys this little treat and I feel secure since the lighted collar means I can see him in the dark the whole time, and make sure he doesn’t get too far from me or too far out of the yard. This collar would be great for someone who has a large property their dog roams at night, or someone who walks their dog at night — this collar is great for visibility. It has a battery attached near the buckle, and you just charge it up with the included USB-C plug. It charges quickly and a charge lasts a long time, but of course I only use mine for a few minutes at a time, a couple of times a week. I can’t comment on how well it lasts if you use it every night for hours and hours. I chose the lime green one and it is a really bright, fun color. The lights are bright and this collar is really a lot of fun. A neighbor saw it and just had to know where we got it.To operate the lights, just press the button once to turn the lights on solid. Press it again for quickly blinking lights, press it a third time for more slowly blinking lights, and press it a fourth time to turn the lights off. It’s that simple. The battery pack is lightweight and while it is bulkier than the rest of the collar, it is not overly large or in the way. The length of the collar is adjustable; I ordered per the size chart and that worked for me. I adjusted this collar larger than my dog’s everyday collar that he wears all the time, so I can slip it on over my dog’s head when we take the trash out, and slip it back off again when we get back inside. It has sturdy metal D-ring so you can attach a leash to it, which is handy.Overall, this collar works great, is really neat and a lot of fun. Your furry friend will be the most stylish trendsetter at the dog park in one of these.

Wish it lasted more than a few weeks! So disappointed that it suddenly stopped lighting up. Been charging it because I thought it just needed some juice, but it does not work anymore!

Glow in the Dark Dog
I have a black German shepherd and she is pretty much invisible in the dark. The collar is solidly made and genuinely lights up the night. The green is bright and pretty. The collar comes with a charging cable and little instruction cards.It charges quickly. There are three settings: solid, fast blink and slow blink. The collar is,adjustable and has a thick plastic clasp that holds securely. It is not padded and you can see the lights through the back. Nonetheless it seems comfortable for the dog. Well made it is a cool and useful accessory.

Sturdy and visible
First of all, I have to give this collar its props. It has held up to my lab puppy who is just shy of 1 year old. She destroys everything she gets her teeth on, but somehow this collar has survived. Granted, she can’t exactly bit onto it, but that hasn’t appeared to stop her from obliterating every other plastic within reach. I also don’t leave this collar on full time, as I only really need the visibility at night. Most of the day, she wears an invisible fence collar, and this one either rests on a shelf or gets an occasional recharge. So far, I have only managed to run the battery dry once, and I think it was left on but face down (not visible). Just a theory, but that’s my story.As for visibility, this collar does a great job in keeping our black lab quite clearly marked against the darkening night sky. I can see her almost anywhere on our property, even when it is too dark to see other features. With a run of about 7 acres, this collar keeps my pup *mostly* out of trouble. She’s a lab, after all…No complaints so far, and the collar came with a cable to charge it, though that wasn’t needed in my case.

Great for night walks or out in large yards alone
I got the green one since I wanted it to be very visible; my wife and I take our dog for walks around the neighborhood, and wanted to make sure we are seen. I also wanted this for when the dog is let out in our yard (we are on acreage) and doesn’t come – makes him very easy to locate – he gets sidetracked by other small animals in the yard. The light itself is very bright, depending on the selected intensity, and has a flash and a steady mode. I ordered the size per the product guidelines, and it is borderline too large – I am almost against the first led when buckled. Not a huge issue, but FYI if you order one. I have used this for several hour long walks and it was still fully charged, so I suspect the charge will last a very long time.

Perfect for night walks
This collar transitions from day to night because you can the light on/off and isn’t super clunky like others. I always worry about the weight on these type of collars because of the tech inside of them but my dog didn’t even notice a change. You have three modes, one standard light mode, regular blinking, and then a slow blink. It’s very noticeable at night as well!It’s sturdy and doesn’t emit any high frequency noises which is perfect for my blind dog. Got a lot of compliments when I was out during our night walks so this is definitely a keeper.
