We loved everything about this collar and bought it for a musical festival (EDC) as a way to light up our look. Before purchasing, I reached out to Glowseen’s Customer Service to see if it would be safe for people too, and if it would hold up with sweating or the possibility of rain without getting damaged. I received an incredibly fast response from a warm and happy person named Julia who quickly informed me that it would be safe for anyone, animal or human, to wear. She even suggested that I could cut it to fit me first and then cut it again to my dog after I was done with it if I didn’t want to wear it again, so I loved that I could use it for both purposes.I ended up choosing the version without the design so that it wouldn’t look like a dog collar when worn by a person. Honestly, I loved this collar as soon as I opened it. It’s sturdy, super bright, has a fantastic range of colors/styles/effects compared to other brands and it was very easy to use. Just to be sure I was buying the right collar for my tastes, I ordered from this brand and also from a competitor. And let me just tell you – there was a clear difference and the Glowseen was by far the superior product. The other brand’s version was an INSTANT disappointment – the lights were so dim and they weren’t level throughout the collar. Their package was also inferior and the plug inlet was on the outside making it visible while wearing it. Sure, it was thinner, but that’s because they used a thin copper string of lights which also meant that the brightness was low and the lights moved within the collar sleeve (so they weren’t in a straight line). Yuck!But when I opened this Glowseen package, it was an INSTANT YES. This product was notably thicker than the other brand, but I quickly saw why. When I cut it to fit me, I saw the lights inside the collar, which was like a high-end thick set of LED lights that I would expect to see behind a mounted TV or under cabinet wiring. It was super-light, but super bright and still very flexible.The collar material itself is a little firm when you first open it, but it did mold more to the shape of my head after the first wear – honestly there was no issue with this at all, it just looks a little less round when you first open it because of how it is packaged. That was part of the reason I chose to wear it on my head instead of around my neck.It comes in a nice package with information and instructions on how to cut it. The collar itself has a scissor icon on the side where you can cut it to size without damaging it (I turned it on so I could make sure I didn’t cut one of the lights as you want to cut it between the lights instead). It comes in a very large size so that it will work for pet and human applications, so to size it, you’ll just unlatched the connectors, wrap it around your neck or head and use your fingers to mark where you will cut it. Turn it on to make sure you don’t cut a light in half and then replace the connected end to the shorted collar. And that’s it!I ended up choosing my head because it was SERIOUSLY so comfortable there. I didn’t get a headache or feel any pressure from wearing this for 8+hours a day, which I’m prone to getting when something doesn’t fit right… but that was never a problem with this collar. I wore it like a crown and used the multi-light function for most of the event.I tested out both the fully-lit rainbow and the lower-light rainbow that rotates around the collar. The fully-lit run time lasted me about 4.5 hours and the lower-light run time was about 5.5 hours, both of continuous use. Charge time was about 60-90 minutes (I wasn’t paying close attention to the charge time but I came back after 90 minutes and it was ready to go again). I love that the charging inlet is hidden inside the connector so that it keeps the outlook looking cleaner, and it had a sturdy connection each time I charged it so I could trust that it was charging (it also has a faint red light to indicate when the collar is still charging so you don’t have to guess).Overall, it was a hit. We got constant compliments and plan to use them for more events in the very near future. We even ordered another one for the dog because we like ours too much to share! Highly recommend this and I hope you get it and have a blast showing it off!

Have been wearing it everyday for winter late afternoon walks
Ordered the “LED Dog Collar – Color Changeable Light Up Dog Collars USB Rechargeable,15 Light Effects Glow in The Dark Collar Weatherproof Fits for Small Medium Large Dog, Keep Your Pets Seen Safety High Visibility” and have been very pleased. First, it is comfortable for my dog – she is not bothered by it all. Second, it is pleasing with a variety of colors and flash options – I prefer all of the colors on slow rolling flash – it is festive & fun while making us very obvious to drivers in our no-sidewalks neighborhood. Third, it holds a charge really well – we can use it all week without needing to recharge. FULL DISCLOSURE: you will need to trim this color to make it work – doing that is not difficult and the manufacturer provides very clear instructions. I highly recommend you follow them closely – it is quite easy actually. HOWEVER: you will then need to insert the collar cover (which is lot like surgical tubing) over the provided piece that clips it together. For me, this was quite a challenge. I ended up using a hair dryer to warm up the tubing to make it pliable enough to go over the clip. This took me about 20 (!) tries so be prepared. FINAL OBSERVATION: the clip portion of the collar will go together in such a way that it can be very confusing about how to get in apart again (for charging). I highly suggest keeping the trimmed off portion of the collar to be a reminder about how it works. And remember, this is NOT a collar to be used with a leash or for grabbing the animal in any way – it is not designed for that kind of use. Okay, with all of that in mind, we use this (as a second) collar daily and it works perfectly. Our dog LOVES the attention she gets on our walks when wearing this collar. Update: months later and still working perfectly with daily use on 30-45 minute walks in cold & wet weather including driving rain.

I have purchased over 40 led glow collars for my fur-baby, rescue services, friends, to donate, foster agencies and more. Believe me by now I know what works, lasts long, is bright and and illuminates the furthest for those fur-babies that love to run a distance from you in a safe area. I have purchased 5 other rainbow collars from other Sellers that last about 3 nights if you’re lucky and then the colours completely fade out.The GS GlowSeen is more expensive than others but as we all know “you get what you pay for.” And for the price the Glowseen excels in every aspect.With every colour of the spectrum (using the Colour Change option) on three modes or the rainbow colour, which is stunning and lets everyone know you’re “there” when crossing busy intersections, crosswalks, playing in the park…..absolutely everywhere. It is also an awesome conversation piece.The GlowSeen is definitely the strongest built, highly functional, superbly designed and strongest glow collar out there. It may seem heavy for small breed dogs but my little girl is a ShihPoo, weighs 21 pounds (she’s a muscular girl) and the collar cut to size causes no problem at all.I bought 3….2 for winter clothing with no hood and another with coats with a hood (to fit the collar over the hood so it can be seen). The third is for the summer and is cut smaller as there is no clothing to hinder seeing the collar.Just unscrew the tiny screw under the side to cut, fit to size, cut and slide the cut end back in and replace the screw. This ensure the cut end never detaches from the end of the collar. To charge push the piece (on the side you cut) down and insert the USB cord. This is an excellent feature as the charging port never gets wet which often causes a short out.I HIGHLY recommend the GS Glowseen Colour Change collar for the most reliable, functional, brightest, strongest and long-lasting collar on the market.

By far better than the dangly light up tags that go on a collar. I’m in Ontario, Canada, and have a dog that just totaled the tag light every time…whether swimming, snow…they would get wet inside and battery life sucked, or they would just get mashed by hitting something.So far, this collar has stood the test of time. No swimming or snow yet, but holding it’s own.It is SO BRIGHT. If I’m in a dark area, she GLOWS. The different patterns/colours you can choose are fantastic. You can literally light your dog up like a marquee, or some sort of amusement ride. I will be hit by a car, and she’ll be safe and glowing at the end of her leash. lolProbably not best for a teeny sized dog. Collar is quite hefty. My dog is 29kg. PERFECT for her. Easy to size.

This collar really throws the light and has many different collars and patterns. All the dogs at the park are wearing them now and at night time it’s like a magical light show as they run around the field!! Customer service from this company was excellent, very prompt response and courteous. Highly recommend!!
