I upgraded my review from 4 star to 5 star because after more than a dozen walks the collars have remained intact and around the dog’s necks. Funny thing. Our dogs seem to relish their new collars and like running around showing off their new lighted collars to all the neighbors and neighborhood dogs. It is a riot and a lot of fun seeing them prance around at night with their neon lights, on leash, of course, but enjoying themselves. The lights are very bright and can be seen up to a block away. Received the device in a small Ziplock bag with ZERO instructions. Anytime you have to cut the device, instructions for the device are desirable to avoid an error or a mistake. I went back to the Amazon listing to see if there was a video or further instructions and there were none. We figured it out, but there are some flaws to the device that could be problematic with use. You can’t tell a dog to be careful with the device around its neck like you could with a child. Likely the tube has to be cut to fit your dog’s neck. However, both ends of the tube slip into each end of the light. It does NOT snap into place, nor is there a clamp that can be tightened. Both ends of the tube simply slip into the light. I can see if your dog were rambunctious or playing with another dog, it is possible the tube might pull out of the light and both parts fall to the ground. There is no way to get a tight fit of the tube into the light. It seems too easy to pull out, but time will tell. On our first walk on the sidewalk with the dogs, the lighted collars stayed intact and around the dog’s necks. We will see how the collars hold up on longer walks in the days to come and I will update this review. Otherwise, charging was easy and the lights are very bright. We got the neon blue and neon pink and both make the dogs look cute as buttons at night in the dark. One might not see the dogs BUT one can definitely see the two neon blue and neon pink collars dancing in the night, thus keeping your dogs safe and seen. As long as the tube collar stays connected to the light, I rate it “A-“.

Sizing the collar
At first I wasn’t sure if I could cut the collar, I asked Rufus and was told you can size it by cutting without bothering the lighting. That’s what I was skeptical about. The product is great the illumination is awsume. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks

Great for walks in the dark
It has a regular mode and blinking mode which is really helpful for when I walk my dog at night and he strays into the woods. My 12 year-old Lab doesn’t listen like he used to, so when he heads off the path into the woods at night, he is still easy to track.

Better than the similar BSEEN model I bought
I bought me a similar product from BSEEN. That product worked almost identical to this product with a few exceptions which, together, turned out to be a big deal. The BSEEN product did not have a solid fastener for the rubber tubing into the lighting device. Because of this, it was not uncommon for my dog to brush up against something and the tube would disconnect and the collar would fall off. Both the NOVKIN and the BSEEN model have the same 4 lighting modes (solid, slow flash, quick flash, off) which are cycle by pressing a button on the lighting device. The order in which you cycle these modes wouldn’t normally matter. And most people are going to use the solid color mode 99% of the time. However, in the BSEEN product, the cycle was slow flash, quick flash, solid, off. So if the dog happened to brush up against something, dislodging the collar and also pressing the mode mode button at the same time, this would result in the mode going from solid to OFF. So now you are trying to find a collar laying on the ground or in the weeds with the collar off … IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND = LOST COLLAR. The NOVKIN product has fixed these issues by both supplying a solid tube connector and also switching the mode cycle to solid, slow flash, quick flash, off. So your collar won’t come of in the 1st place and, even if it did, and the mode button was also activated, it would switch from solid to slow flash making it much easier to find in the dark.

The light is very bright and easy to see in the dark. I love that the entire collar is lighted, even the front part where the button is. Very easy to recharge and adjust. The light lasts for a long time before I have to recharge. Great value for money!

This is a fun and super helpful glow in the dark collar. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we cut the tube to size and charged it quickly and easily. Good value.
