Works well
I was a little apprehensive due to the gaps, but they were not a factor at all. It fit my nail grinder perfectly. So far I’ve only used the 80# wheel… it worked well, but it was slightly more aggressive and a bit louder than the original grinding heads that came with my nail grinder so my pup didn’t lay as still as he usually does.

Wow! Really dissipated the heat!
I have a husky mix with the standard husky dramatic’s. Trimming of the nails is a cumbersome undertaking to say the least. I got a nail grinder to make the task easier but it would take forever due to the nails getting hot from the friction. This little grinder head with the groves cut in it dissipated the heat and we were able to get the job done in about a quarter of the time!

For the dog who hates it
I have tried to desensitize my dog to having her nails done since day one. Shes a little over a year old and she still hates it very much. These heads make the job very quick and that is great because I need to be able to get the most done in the smallest amount of time possible. So this is great for a dogs that dont mind having their nails done and its essential if they hate it.

Gets the job, but is noisy
As someone who is constantly working to be more efficient with doing dog nails, I figured Iâd give this new design a try. The overall design makes sense and can do well, the problem I ran into was the noise. Even some of my more seasoned clients were jittery and less cooperative compared to the other heads that are much quieter.If your dog does fine with the other heads, I wouldnât bother replacing unless you truly need to.

These grind the nails down easily for the large shepards at my Rescue. Just becareful to keep moving and don’t let them get hot.

does the job on doggie nails
I got these changeable grinder heads from Vine. When my grandson brings his dogs to my house, it is usual for me to file down their nails. His dogs are much larger than mine and thicker nails. I ordered these heads from Vine to give me more options on my battery-operated dog nail grinder. They did a good job of filing the thicker nails, much better than my older grinder head. I liked the fact there were 3 heads per package. I liked the fact all there had a different size grinder on each one. The heads easily went on my older grinder and worked very fast at removing the nail-tips. Since I got these on Vine, I will be paying taxes on the full cost of the items when I file next spring.

Noise was unexpected
I was very surprised how quiet my pet nail grinder was until it was time to replace the head. These heads make a lot more noise than the original and seem to have more vibration. I wouldn’t recommend them.
