Transitioned from the bottle with these
Professionals are now saying to avoid sippy cups and go straight to the straw, but my 1 year old kept holding his cup up- this was a good transition cause he uses the straw muscles but can turn it up like he was used to .

    Buy them!
we bought these to try and transition our daughter to a sippy cup! We bought so many sippy cups and could not get her to transition she was stuck to her como tomo. I never knew these existed until scrolling Amazon and when I saw them I bought them without hesitation. Fast forward a week after and my 1 year old is fully transitioned to a sippy cup and hasn’t had a bottle for about a month now! It helped us so much! Only had to use these for about 1 week! The only con to these were that when our daughter would drink from them the nipple part would suck inwards so we would have to open the bottle and let the air out and put it back on so she could continue drinking. These were meant to only be a temporary use anyways and they worked for the purpose we tried so hard to get to so we are completely satisfied and happy with them!Would highly recommend if your trying to transition your baby off the comp tomo baby bottles into a sippy cup!!!

Try it for a full 2 or 3 nursing or pumping sessions b4 deciding
Use with a pumping bra it falls offUse it with a large bottle I just pulled 4 oz with the large bottle it doesn’t collapse.Try for a full couple pumping or nursing sessions before deciding it doesn’t work.It feels like no suction and won’t stay on but it does have suction and does work. The fact that the hole is small is why it’s harder to feel itThe harder silicone flange and small hole is why it won’t stay on.If you measure larger than 20 mm it is too smallOk so first this is not 1 size fits all. I work with pumps and silicone pumps all day and the first thing I noticed is that it is not one size fits all. This is a size 20 mm flange you can use it quite comfortably even if you are a smaller size than that. However if you measure larger than 20 mm on a ruler you are not even going to fit in this flange. I am currently ordering the tall bottle to go with this because the next biggest problem with this is that the small bottles collapse in on themselves so you lose almost all the suction despite having decent suction if they don’t collapse. However if you hold the bottom to keep it from collapsing it does have enough suction to actually pull milk. I am ordering the large bottle for this to test if it is just a small bottle problem. I can get about 2 oz from this with the small bottle while holding the base from collapsing which is actually a little more than most silicone pumps I’ve tried by about a half oz and I am about 12 mm and take a size 15 mm flange. So you don’t have to have exactly 20 mm to get a good output from this. However the next problem is the flange itself. It is very hard silicone. It is silicone and bendy but it is very wide and thicker so bending the flange back to properly attach it is hard and even with it properly attached. The bottle is too heavy compared to the small surface area that has suction maybe if the hole was wider it would suction better. It does have good comfortable suction but it is only in a very small area and the area isnt big enough to have enough collective suction to hold it on. So you do need to use it with a pumping bra to hold it on it does work with a pumping bra. However because it does have suction in that small area and it isnt sucking on a ton of areola it is wayyyyy more comfortable than most other silicone pumps. To the point of I didn’t think it was working because of how gentle it felt. But it has enough suction to pull milk without pulling the extra tissue in which can be uncomfortable for a lot of people. So if you try it and it doesn’t feel like it is suctioning. Keep it there for a while before you decide that that is the case because it could just be because of the smaller suction area than you are used to and you still may be able to use it even if you can’t feel it. Which is a major upside to this design. I personally suggest to make different sized holes for this. So I suggest size 20mm and 30 mm because there are people who wouldn’t be able to use this at all due to size problems. Second I suggest it being shown using pumping bra because that is the only way it is usable due to the small suction area. And third I suggest this get shown with only the large bottles or a warning stating that it might not be super easy to use with small bottles. The only reason I didn’t just immediately write it off when I put it on was because I know better and left it on even if I couldn’t feel the suction.

Do not buy! They leak everywhere!
The nipples do not fit snug with the como tomo bottles. My 9 month old used them once and it dribbled all down the front of her shirt. As soon as she tries to suck the sprout the nipple changes shape loosening the seal of the bottle creating a stream of milk to come out. Will not be using again. Waste of money – do not buy!!

Thinner silicone that I was expecting
The silicone is thinner than Comotomo nipples but it at least hard to pull out (we had another set that is much easier to pull out of the bottle, thus 3 stars). I love the idea though
