    very portable
Love Noobs Manual Breast Pump is very easy to use and clean, and works surprisingly well with minimal effort. I love that there’s no cords (or need for outlets), or batteries: it’s truly portable and can be used virtually anywhere. It comes with a bottle that has bold and clear marking, so you know exactly how much you have. The bottle has a nipple so you can use the same bottle for feeding, and it comes with a cap and a sealing disk so you can take it on the go without worrying about spilling. Also included were 3 milk storage bags – nothing fancy, but everything you’d expect: clear markings, strong “zipper”, writable space for important details, and they lie flat (if you need to freeze/stack them).Overall, I think it’s a great value for something that’s simple, but works quite well.

My first go at a manual pump and I hated it.
Full transparency here. This was sent to me to review. I was excited to try it as I wanted a pump I could potentially use while in airports etc. I gave it a couple tries and it’s just awful. I haven’t used another manual pump so I’m not sure if it’s all manual pumps I would not like or if it’s just this one.First, there are SO many pieces. I got overwhelmed washing the parts once. I cannot imagine having to deal with all the parts regularly. Second, I didn’t let down as much. I had good suction and felt like things were great. Once I finished pumping, I had collected half of what I would normally. For me, collecting my milk is too important to mess with this again. I just didn’t think it was effective.

    Wife (mostly) approved
Got this for my wife to be used while traveling. We went on a 3 day long trip and returned home. I fully expected her to go back to her electronic pump, but to my surprise she continued using this manual pump. When I questioned her, she said the manual pump would pull out more milk faster allowing her to get back to her day. She appreciated the handle was able to move down or up and said overall use of the pump was quite easy. She did say that her hand would get a little tired, but she would rather have a slightly tired hand if it meant she could get back to her day or sleep at a faster pace. Her only gripe was that the handle felt a little loose or flimsy and that she wishes it included a larger reservoir. The reservoir was easy to get around with a larger bottle. Yes this thing can fit right into a bottle which was a HUGE help.Lastly she said cleaning was as easy as every other pump and the fact that there aren’t a lot of parts was a plus.In her words 3.75 out of 5 stars, so I’ll round up to 4.

    Works but not the best
This manual pump does work. I’ll start with that. It’s fairly easy to get together and it’s large enough that you can operate it while it’s attached without too much issue. The problem is that it doesn’t really seal well. I don’t expect it to seal the same way an automatic pump would but if you don’t get this on just right it just doesn’t seal. And since it’s manual, if you move it while pumping, it breaks the seal far easier than on other pumps. All that to say for stimulation and getting a flow started, this works pretty well. But if you want to pump and collect milk, I’d definitely recommend an automatic pump.

    LOVE THESE!!!
I have used several different types of breast pumps and I like to keep a manual around for just in case occasions. I normally use a major branded “M” manual breast pump as it has been my favorite up until now. This design is almost the same so I figured I would replace my worn-out favorite with this one. For context, I have 8 kids that I have breastfed, so I have a lot of experience with different pumps. It didn’t feel like it was getting suction at first but once I took it apart and put the pieces together again it worked perfectly, so I guess something just wasn’t sitting right. I love it, it isn’t overly aggressive with suction, and you can pretty much control the whole process. If you are doing a “let down”, you just do quick half presses. When going to “regular” pump, you just press the handle all the way down as quick or as slow as what feels right to you. I really think this is going to be my new favorite.

    Go name brand instead!
Cheaply made and too many pieces. It doesn’t work as well as the name brands (lansinoh or medela). This is meant to add convenience for a mom on the go but it doesn’t work well and it has more pieces to wash which is a pain. For a couple more dollars you can get a name brand pump and not have to worry about the milk production or the quality of your product.also doesn’t tell you what size flange it comes with? And certain inserts don’t work with it but idk why?

Works great for a manual breast pump
I think having a manual breast pump on hand is sometimes great for a back up. I noticed when I had trouble expressing milk with an electric pump that a manual pump really helped get milk flowing. This manual breast pump is very easy to use and works great at getting milk expressed. I like that this has everything you need including a few milk storage bag. The manual pump is certainly convenient also if you forget to charge your electric pump or lose electricity. This product is extremely reasonably at the current price of $19.99 and would make a great breastfeeding gift for any breastfeeding new mom. The pump is also very easy to go straight from pumping to changing out tops and feeding the baby.

    Works ok, but not best
I got this manual breast pump recently, and I would say this is not the best. It does the job reasonably ok. The suction power is not so great and at times it doesn’t work seamlessly. The latch at times doesn’t hold properly causing it to slip. It comes with all the necessary accessories to pump manually.
