Very convenient and easy way to go plastic free
In LOVE with this company! I had so many jars left over from canning that I had no idea what to do with. I didnât know how to repurpose them until an ad for Mason Bottle came across my Facebook feed. There are no crevices for mold to grow and theyâre super convenient to clean. The silicone sleeve adds grip and protection if dropped. A very easy way to go plastic free and reuse items around the house. I canât wait to use the bottle nipples for our next baby! The only downfall is if you push down on the top, water will squirt out. Not a deal breaker though.

Freaking Awesome
As stated above, these straw tops are freaking awesome. Right out off the box the quality craftsmanship is obvious, no mold lines, the feel is nice and the brand name (and made in USA;) is subtle. As for the design/ functionality, freaking genius. The top can be used with the straw or without a a sippy cup. The straw securely fits into the spout which has a barrier with a cross shaped valve so liquid does not spill out but any liquid left in the top gets pulled back into the cup, there are two spill-proof vales that work perfectly, the straw is long enough to use in a pint jar or can be cut for ½ pints and the packaging is minimal (which I appreciate). Great system
I really like mason bottle products. We used the bottles and are now transitioning to straws. These are great for an 8 ounce mason jar. If needed you can cut them and I actually would recommend adding an angle to the bottom so that itâs easier to drink the water and not get suction to the bottom. It does leak but incredibly minimally. And if you pull the straw up and then down while in the cup it will depressurize and water can come out. Nonetheless this is a great product the spelling is incredibly minimal and I have no complaints about it. We also only use it with water and have no intention of using it with any other liquid.

Leakiest straw ever!
I wanted to like this product so badly, but it just does not work. The straw top leaks all over the place, which is especially inconvenient considering I bought these to use exclusively for milk. I have tried everything to get it to stop leaking and nothing works. Itâs not a poor design, itâs a poor execution.

I love this company and almost all of their products, but these straws are an exception. The whole reason we’ve invested in this entire line of products is bc they are safer than plastics.First let me specify that the upper spout and lower straw are 2 individual pieces. They don’t seem to fit securely together, however I’ve never had the straw fall out bc you cut it to the length you need. That’s just my observation, and it STILL functions perfectly.HOWEVER, my biggest concern is still the straw for another reason. It started to emits a strong smell while being in my son’s water after only a few uses. After washing the smell remains on the straw and will make the water taste like the smell it emits. We’ve only used it with water, so I know that it hasn’t absorbed something.The package comes with 2 upper spouts and 2 straws. The other straw has not been used and doesn’t have that smell (yet?). If it does the same thing, I will request a refund.I’m very disappointed in this particular product in their line and it makes me question their products that I’ve raved about to other moms looking for a cleaner solution.Note: the smell/taste only seems to be linked to the straw, not the upper turquoise spout.

Difficult to suck
It’s a little difficult to suck out liquids using both parts of the straw. So we stopped using the inner part and it works a lot better.
