Great pump!!
I exclusively pumped/nursed for over 1 year and this pump was a lifesaver!! I started out with an Evenflo and was almost ready to give up due to me thinking I wasnât producing enough. Thankfully it turned out that it was an issue with the pump & not me!! Replacement parts are easy to come by and should be changed for sanitary as well as performance purposes. Luckily they arenât super expensive either. The only complaint that I had was that the battery pack took EIGHT AA batteries that need to be changed weekly if youâre a heavy pumper. All in all, great purchase and I would definitely recommend!!

Love this
3 weeks ago I had twins early via c section. They are in the NICU and I needed to pump milk for them (I was planning to pump even if they werenât preemie) so I already had this pump (with the collection cups) ready to use. I have used their pumps before in the hospital so I knew it was a good brand. I have been loving this thing. And the portability! I have used it while in the car a few times already. I definitely recommend this pump and for sure the cups. So useful and convenient. I havenât had any issues with it. At first there were a few hiccups where one side was pumping and the other wasnât. I was terrified that it stopped working but turns out you need to make sure everything is hooked up properly. If the cup is open just a bit or if the yellow thing on the inside isnât in properly then that will cause it not to pump. Also, thankfully this thing has an internal timer. I have fallen asleep with them on a few times and didnât have to worry about being sucked dry lol.Such a great purchase and definitely recommend.

Works Great!
I struggled finding a pump that was strong enough to get enough milk out. I ended up hand pumping until I purchased this pump. It has a 30 minute cycle that works great! I like to restart the massage mode half way through to get another let down. Works great! My son and I are grateful.

Simply put, donât waste your money.
When I got pregnant, my insurance at the time offered a portable pump (Freemie) and I selected it not realizing that it wasnât really the best fit for a standalone pump for every day use. I was lucky enough to be able to borrow a Spectra from a cousin, and around 6 months into breastfeeding, I had to return the Spectra because she needed it again.Knowing I was gonna make a big investment, and I had just accepted a new job that would take me out of the house, I was willing to spend a decent amount of money to get a pump that could travel with me.I was convinced by my aunt who was a Medela rep back in the 90s that this was the only way to go if I had to buy my own pump. I combed through reviews, and selected this Pump in Style model.Up to this point, I was mainly pumping to feed my daughter so it was a lot of trust to put into this machine. When it arrived, I was impressed by the sleek style. It is compact, the stock flanges fit me great, and the machine was not a complete atrocity to look at.The pump has an automatic setting when you turn it on that mimics your babe; it pumps lower suction at a fast rate, and then a few moments later (post let-down) it slows down, again, mimicking what our babes do. I like this function, it worked well for me, it pumped a comparable amount (if not slightly more) than my spectra. It is a little louder than other machines, but nothing too crazy. The parts of the pump (the overflow protector etc) were a little difficult to take a part and put together, and unlike my spectra, the flange unit all put together is too heavy and cannot be put down on a table to rest without an inconvenient base attachment which made it difficult to juggle pump parts and try to store my milk at the same time (I.e definitely not ideal for moms on the go).I treated this pump and the pump parts exactly as I treated all my other pumps and pump parts. The pump was stored in my pumping cart and I pulled apart and washed everything separate and let them air dry. Day 1.5 of having this pump, I put all the parts together after they sat on the rack drying from the last pump session (~3 hours), and sit down for a pump session only for the tubes to suck in some water and the pump to make an audible slurping sound & stop. The pump was fried. I was so confused. I contacted Medela and the agent was incredibly friendly and next-day delivered me a new pump. As many of you know, that means I had to use my freemie/hand express/etc while my babe was in daycare and of course it led to a clogged duct which then led to mastitis.New pump arrives, i sanitize everything and get ready to test itâs travel-ability. Now that I was aware that the pump was sensitive, I took extra care to dry all the parts before putting it all together. I brought this pump in an American Airlines flight from FL to California and pumped in my seat. The small device went unnoticed my my neighbors and I was satisfied. The last day of my trip to California, I sit down for a pump session before heading back to the airport and the same water suction thing happened again. This is now a less than 5 day old replacement pump. The parts of my pump were completely wiped dry which leads me to think that somehow my milk got into the tubingâ¦This tells me that these pumps are NOT closed system and the overflow protector doesnât work well, so buyer beware. I am so disappointed in the quality of the pump, the overflow protector that failed in me twice, and the fact that neither brand new pump lasted longer than 5 days⦠I didnât bother asking for another replacement. Now I have two broken medela units sitting in my house collecting dust because I was never sent a return label (any help, Medela?) .Long story short, disappointed. The over complicated overflow protector makes it so water/milk gets stuck and destroys your pump. I also must imagine that means itâs vest hard to actually sanitize. Donât waste your money.. my crappy freemie is still going strong

Overall a good pump
Overall this is a good pump. I have used several over the course of my two babies who I exclusively pumped for. This pump is small and compact and easy to bring to the office and such. The suction is good, similar to the spectra. Personally, I need the suction on the max setting to get fully emptied out (as I do for the Spectra). This pump is also very very quite which my husband loves when I am pumping before bed. Also love the parts set up. Just feels like less work and less pieces. More streamlined overall feeling which is a plus when youâre washing and setting up every 3 hours. Also, can probably connect and pump directly into Dr. Brownâs bottles. I havenât tried it but they look like very, very similar sized openings. I would be surprised if theyâre not compatible. So if youre using Dr. Browns and this pump, it could be a very good match.Cons: only works while plugged in or with external battery pack. So if you want to be mobile while pumping this is not the pump for you.Kind of easy for water to get into the tubing and down into the motor if you didnât at the minimum shake off the water very well. There is no screen so you never know how much time you have left or what suction level youâre on. This is annoying bc A) youâre chained to the wall and B) if you change the suction level during your pumping session the 30 minute timer restarts so I am externally keeping track of my pumping time or stopping when I see I donât have anything else coming out/feel empty. The bag and freezer bag that came with the pump are nice I think. I didnât realize that it came with a separate4 bottle capacity freezer bag and ice pack for bottles so that was an appreciated benefit.

Too loud for my liking. I do not like the vibrating/pulsing feature

It is a very good pump, I had a problem with it and they replaced it without having to send the one that I have, they sent a new pump the same day. Very good customer service.

This breast pump is made for mom’s that want to only pump they’re milk and not half the time breast other half bottle. It doesn’t make much noise, doesn’t hurt so long as you have the right size for you, and it automatically turns off after 30 mins. Love this as of yet!
