My son has a sensory processing disturbance and attends weekly Music & Occupational therapy. His therapist recommended this exact “toy” because they see much success with most of their kiddos.Durability = 100%, my son has thrown every piece (including the box), on a daily basis. For kids who love shapes, this is a MUST HAVE!
Omg! My daughter is obsessed with shapes and absolutely loves this toy! We are a big Melissa & Doug family and we love their wooded toys. This cube is fun and has 12 shapes! The only thing I will say that I don’t like about it is the method to retrieve the shapes once they have been inserted. You remove one side of the cube by sliding the side out. The side slides out very easily and therefore slides out ALL the time! Not just when you are wanting it to! Otherwise this toy is amazing!

Lid comes completely off
Nice concept, seems like quality material. Only issue is the top comes completely off. Poor design. The back should slide up to remove the blocks inside. No parts of the cube itself should come completely off.

Love Melissa and Doug Educational Toys
I have an adult son with severe developmental delays and now that he is out of school we are trying to keep up with his dexterity and skills that he learned in school! I am always looking for things that can help so we can rotate and make sure he does not get board, since he aged out of all programs it has been hard but Melissa and Doug and other Montessori Toys are amazing for him! We have created so many task boxes to keep him working and he loves them! This is for his Christmas gift this year! It looks really well made!!!
