Very Durable for Medium Sized Pups
Our sweet pup is absolutely loving this cactus. We weren’t sure it would hold up as he is a pretty aggressive chewer but we gave this to him December 23rd and it’s holding up pretty well.He plays with this toy daily. There is no squeak on this one which is great as he plays early on the mornings too. It’s not like his other toys which hurt when you step on it. It’s very soft, rubber, and hard and very cute! It’s also a perfect size for medium dogs, our boy is about 48 pounds.We haven’t had to clean it, it stays pretty clean on its own but he isn’t much of a drooling pup. Very good to keep them busy for a while!Also, our pup is about 3 1/2 years old and learning how to not destroy things as quickly. Younger pups may still tear through these as I’ve seen in other reviews but we love it.

Awesome chew toy
My labs love these. They will sit and chew for 30 minutes +. They are very aggressive chewers and when they do chew them down, the toy crumbles in very small chunks.

very durable
This has worked best for us as a throw & fetch toy. If you throw it with a spin it topples end over end and the dog loves that (seems to jump). It’s rubber coating has held up (no breaks) but it’s very hard inside and so he doesn’t really chew it for long. It’s lasted through sharp baby teeth into adult ones and that’s nice. It’s very heavy & fairly large so probably not great for dogs less than 20 lbs.

Great for destructive chewers
My Shepherd will destroy most chew toys in minutes. He has yet to even puncture the rubber. Just as good as Kong. Highly recommend!

Not for super aggressive chewers
My dogs really liked this toy, but my lab mix broke it in half within the first 24 hours of ownership. The vet told me to get something softer than Nylabones because her teeth are wearing away, but this wasn’t durable enough to last. I wouldn’t recommend it for aggressive chewers.

NOT FOR AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS
I have a 1yr old Corgi and within 5 minutes she was able to break off a large chunk from one of the Cactus ends. This toy is not suited for aggressive chewers and posses a massive choking and vet bill HAZARD. Do not buy.

Finally something my dog hasnât destroyed yet!!
I am so glad I gave this toy a try!! I have two Brittany Spaniel dogs both love to chew. One is 12 years old and has more sensitive senior teeth now so I was looking for something more rubbery like this and not super hard since I have a difficult time finding things she can chew that wonât hurt her teeth or make her gums bleed.I got this for the 12 year old for her birthday, but figured if it was still too much for her, my little 2 year old t-Rex of a Brittany could have fun with it. Much to my surprise, the toy was not only soft enough for the senior dog, but durable enough that the little one with razor sharp teeth has yet to destroy it!Theyâve had the toy for a month and a half now which is saying something lol. A few light teeth impressions on one spot but none of it has broken off, no chunks torn out or eaten away. Itâs survived multiple tug of war sessions. Itâs truly amazing. The material and durability of it reminds me a lot of their red Kong toys where itâs a durable rubber like material but not hard, has a little give to it still.Both dogs love this cactus. The shape of it is great too because itâs easy for them to hold with their paws and control it. They can chew on a variety of different areas so it keeps it interesting to them.This is a fantastic toy and Iâm considering buying a second. Dog and owner approved!

I bought this for my Pups who are aggressive chewers. Almost instantly as they bite the toy the plastic cracks and my Pups easily started ripping the plastic away and eating it so I threw it out. Hopefully they change the design as I think it’s not good even for Dogs who just need a chew toy as the plastic comes off too easily. My Dogs are small breeds so a larger breed would shred this toy.
