Solid, comfortable, and convenient
Iâm usually a cheap guy but the reason I picked this one over the $10 hands free leashes was for several reasons and Iâm glad to say that I think they are worth the price difference.Build quality is good with strong reinforced ends and metal buckles instead of plastic.This was the most important consideration because, trust me, you wouldnât want a broken buckle bouncing back towards your face.Soft interior lining with a decent width makes it comfortable when wrapped around your waist. Itâs pretty lightweight so Iâd say any sized dog would be comfortable with it. The built in doggy bag, seat belt plug, and grab handle are great additions as well.Only thing that is a minor nuisance is the metal locking carabiner for the dog collar side is small enough that my fingers canât quickly open it to attach it one handed. Itâs not as big as my ruff wear leash which I can clip on single handed. On the other hand, it does keep the weight lighter on the dog collar end which Iâm sure my pup appreciates.I got the 7â leash because I thought the 8â one would be too long and itâs a perfect leash length once adjusted for my 34â waist. My 50lb doodle is not more than 2 ft ahead of me. However, it got close to maxing out the adjustable length for the leash in order to fit my waist so if youâre bigger than a 36â waist then id suggest the longer leash. Securing the leash around your waist is not as quick as a clip buckle but itâs not difficult to use either.Overall this leash is excellent for the pup that no longer chews its leash. And when you consider not having to buy a poop bag holder, seat belt plug, or trying a knot on your leash to create a âhandleâ then the value really stands out.

The perfect dog leash
I think Iâve finally found it, the perfect dog leash. It has everything that I was looking for and oh so many ways to use it. First of all, it works as a standard leash just beautifully, with a comfortable handle. It also has a double handle system that lets me hold my dog more close when necessary. In all modes of use it has the bungee system in place to help minimize pulling. I especially like that feature when I wear the leash as a belt or shoulder strap (for hands free use). Itâs easy to interchange between the different modes with a simple buckle system they employ. All functional parts like the buckle and carabiner for the collar are good quality metal and not easily breakable if you have a strong puller. The leash can be buckled into the back seat of a car for safety when weâre in the car. Lastly, there is a handy little pouch for poop bags and even a few treats if I want. The pouch has a dispenser for easily grabbing a bag with one hand. This works so well for me that I donât need anything else. Iâll be telling all my friends about this.

Nice but a struggle
Bought this because of all the reviews. I have a 74lb husky that loves to pull so I have always used a bungee cord leash with him. Few things I donât like about this. Iâm only 5â1 about 170 lbs and there isnât enough slack for the leash to fit around my waist with a light Jacket on. Two the buckle took a while for me to understand how to clasp it. Three the amount of lead available for my husky is about 4 feet. The matierial of this is beautiful and well made. Would recommend to anyone wanting to train their dog with side by side walking.

THIS LEASH IS GREAT! But..
This leash is soooo good. I love it and it’s by far the best leash I have ever had. All the features are so useful. However, I can see how some folks who left reviews on this product would say the leash is too short. I think this leash is the perfect length for me to have around my waist/hips as a Medium sized woman with a 33″ waist and 40″ hips. But the leash gets shorter as you widen the waist band part, so if you are larger then you have less leash. I think they could just offer different lengths to accommodate different sized folks. For my size, this isn’t an issue and I get have 4-6 ft length of leash between me and my dog when I wear it around my waist which is perfect for us. I love the small poop bag dispenser, it’s super low profile and fits a roll of bags AND a few treats for walks. Plus the D ring to click my car keys on. I love the shock resistance and the built in handle is great for keeping your dog close, in moments where you are passing other dogs, bikes, along a road, etc. I have never used the seat buckle part because my dog gets the whole trunk to himself. But I imagine dogs driving in the seats would benefit from it. Overall my only personal complaint is that I would really love the two part buckle that makes it so you can take the leash on and off your body, was a clip. I don’t love fumbling with the hardware to take it on and off. It’s simple enough but for more flow and ease of use, that would be my only personal downside of this leash.

WOW!!
This is such a game changer for my wild boys!!! My boys are a little crazy and I know that’s from lack of training so we’re working on it! After I huffed and puffed because I had to make it so big around my waist, it worked so well. It’s been hard for me to walk my dogs even one at a time before they pull the whole time. Not only does it go around my waist but I love the handle as well. I truly feel like I have control and training will be much easier from here on out!

I had seen someone on one of my walks with something similar and thought I’d give this one a try. The main reason I purchased this was that I love that it’s not only a leash but that there is a seatbelt attachment already on it. When I do take my dog for a walk or run, I love that I don’t have to have anything extra to help keep them safe in my car on the way to where we go run. The seatbelt clip clips into my back and front seat with no issues. It will even stay locked when they’re moving around. The leash itself is completely adjustable to my waist and does have a good amount of stretch to it too. I love that I’m able to run, jog or walk and be completely hands free. Not to mention, I noticed my dog has a lot more slack and is able to move a lot easier too.
