Awesome harness! Love the 3 buckles!
Give this harness a shot! I bought the small for my 13lb papillon mix and it adjusted perfectly (although I did have to tighten the neck part as far as it would go.) I previously tried a step in harness, but he resisted putting his legs in. Then I tried one similar to this that went over the head and buckled on the sides, but he hated it and managed to get a front paw stuck in the neck opening, which was a pain to get out. What I love about this mighty paw harness is the three buckles. My dog easily lets me put this on him by clipping it around his neck first, plus if he ever slid his paw through (he hasnât done so with this one) I can easily release the buckle. He seems super comfortable in it whether on walks, in the car, or lying around, and he has never wriggled out of it. The reflective threading is great for going out at night. My only critique is the front leash clip. When I tried it using it, it pulled the harness to the side to the point where he slipped his paw into the opening with his other paw. (He didnât get loose, but we had to go inside so I could readjust it.) I likely had the harness slightly too loose, but still I havenât used the front clip again. That said, the clip on the back is all I need for him, as heâs not a puller. Overall, highly recommend this item!

Easy usage
Very easy to put on. Sturdy. I like the grip handle at the top. I can grab my baby girl Martha if needed

Works great, but the dog needs to get use to it
really nice, well built. use with the seat-belt leash. By measurement this was a little big but the pup is growing fast. Now to get her to tolerate it. Maybe because she was just Spayed, but she much prefers just a collar – but that’s not safe being restrained by the neck while traveling in an automobile. I still recommend – a lot of adjustment in the straps and fits a Lab well. Very well built, like a rock climbing harness ! Update: Taking her for a walk now is much easier and she is easier to control than on a choker collar or plain collar. Recommend

The Back Leash Hook Snapped Off During High-Speed Sprint
We’ve had this harness since August 2020, only used it about 8 times. In general it is sturdy, comfortable, I like that the arm holes are high enough to where it doesn’t stifle my Golden Retriever’s movement. I like that there are 3 buckles to fasten him in which makes it easier to put on and remove, I don’t have to squeeze his head through the neck hole as some harnesses would. The problem I came across with his harness only just happened and was unexpected, thankfully we were in our fenced-in yard. So here is what occurred – our back yard has a dip along the fence-line and after a torrential downpour we acquired a temporary mini-pond in which my newly 1 year old puppy became fascinated with, and in an attempt at preventing him from jumping back into the mini-pond after having a bath, we attached a tie-out to his harness. While he was wearing his harness and attached to the tie-out in the center of our yard, we began playing a game of ball with him. We hit the ball within his 30 foot length of tie-out so that he would be able to fetch and bring it back to us. But as he was running full-speed-ahead, his front paw tapped the ball causing it to continue moving out of range of the 30 feet he had. He runs fast, he is currently 71 pounds, but being a Golden Retriever he is muscular. What resulted was the leash hook on the back of the harness snapped and he continued running until he caught up with the ball and happily brought it back to us. I was shocked to find out what I thought was a metal hook for his leash to attach to, is actually plastic beneath the metal “coating”. I’ve always thought they were real metal. I would include pics, but as we were outside at the time, I just threw the broken pieces in the trash can in our garage and there’s no way I am digging through that to find the pieces for pictures. I just wanted to alert anyone purchasing or thinking of purchasing this harness of this fact. Overall, I’ve walked my puppy about 7 times around the block wearing this harness, he is a puller so I don’t know if we just got lucky that the times he’s pulled didn’t result in a broken hook, or if the full-speed-ahead dash was just too much strength for it to handle. I do have to say, the actual harness section where the hook was attached is still firmly in place, the harness material and threads haven’t ripped/come apart. What we did was slide a carabiner through the slot that the original broken hook was located and I believe we can still use the harness for our outdoor adventures. I am hesitant to attach the leash to the front hook for fear that too may be only plastic coated in a fake metal look. I am disappointed in the cheapness of having a fake metal hook because I really love Mighty Paw products, and we have several products from this company. I did sign up for their warranty, so perhaps they will send a replacement, but dare I risk taking him out for a walk and having him dash off to chase a squirrel and end up having another hook snap off and possibly causing injury or having him run off to meet new friends? I might just stick with the carabiner. Another concern I have about it is I have another harness from this brand for car travel, I buckle him in to the car so he doesn’t climb all over and also helping in case I need to stop suddenly or we were to be in an accident that he’d stay in place and not end up flying across the vehicle, I’m worried that the other harness I have may also have a fake metal hook. From all outward appearances it looks metal, but so did the hooks on this harness.

Love the Harness!
My dog is a 48 lb Goldendoodle. (He’s a lurp and can be kind of an awkward shape to fit) I did research on dozens of harnesses and ultimately decided to take a chance with Mighty Paw. I measured my pup and ordered the M. When it arrived it was just too tight! I reached out to Mighty Paw to see if they had any way to stretch that last half an inch, and they were quick to reply. They don’t have an extension at this time, but they offered to send the next size up.That being said, the green is ridiculously cute! It is hands down the best built harness I have encountered and I can’t wait to get the correct size so I can take my mutt out in comfort. The chest loop is perfect for his seatbelt clip, and I love how adjustable all the straps are.Recommendation? If your pup is really close to the size, consider ordering up, even though Customer Service is great to help out.

Quality harness for a great price!
Overall, this is a very good harness. The material is sturdy but still breathable. So far itâs endured a beating at the dog run, the beach, multiple hikes and is ready for more! The reflective stitching is great, my dog is black so visibility is important to us. The handle makes it handy to help lift over rocks or to restrain as needed. I like that there are clips both for the back and neck area of the harness so you donât have to yank it over their head. It doubles as a car seat harness as well which we use with our seatbelt Clip. Itâs pretty adjustable so fits a pretty good range of dogs. The only complaint I have is that if you donât quite adjust it perfectly it can bunch up on the back, but thatâs about it. Be sure to measure your pup as this will ensure a better fit.

Edited: Added a Star for customer service – this company stands behind their product.Bought this harness as reviews seemed positive. I did note a single post stating it didn’t fit theirLabrador Retriever as neck vs chest proportions were not inline. Unfortunately, I ignored it as I suspected it was a user adjustment issue as surely it would be made to fit the #1 breed in NA.Well, I was wrong. Neck had to be set at the tightest setting while the chest near the max. Almost immediately the webbing loosened and even taping it didn’t help. The harness was ineffective when using the front clip as the entire harness would slip to one side. Even a dog trainer couldn’t get it to fit.
