Chaco Loved the Run!
Today Chaco (black lab, 45lbs, 21week old) and I did our first run with the Mile High Life running leash. I chose red to match Chaco’s harness. He likes to run hard for about 200 yards at a time, and the elastic helps manage the pull. I also like liked the functionality of the handle woven in the middle of the leash – it helped bring Chaco near me as we passed another dog. The size and weight works well for Chaco’s size. It seems like a good balance between durability, weight, and ease of use for running, hiking, and intense walking.

Best leash I could hope for!
I get easily flustered when I need to carry things in both hands and have a habit of forgetting things like my phone or keys just because I already had something in my hands.So, adding a leash? Not amazing. I was super flustered anytime I had a grocery bag or umbrella.This leash has been amazing.I can easily put this across my shoulder like a bag, cross-body, or around my waist. As long as I position it correctly, it’s comfortable and I barely notice. My dog can absolutely drag me if he wanted to (he’s a sturdy little 45lb dude) and even when it tightens there’s enough stretch in the last so as not to hurt.I placed a knot at the leash about a foot from the base of the leash clip, which is sufficient enough to have a “handle” if I need to keep my pup close. The leash has no tears or anything after months of use.It’s long enough that it fits across mine and my 6 ft partner’s frame without too much length on the leash.The only thing is that the suede tag (to help keel the loop from sliding too loose) has loosened of course, but I haven’t found myself bothered by it since the leash usually stays looped right where I need it.It’s well made and I have no concerns about it breaking at where the leash meets the clip, that any of the hardware is going to pop off or break.I’d buy this again if it ever does break though and I recommend it to all my fellow dog owners.

Great of you have a well behaved dog!
The concept is really cool and it’s easy to use. But if you have a dog that pulls this will be tough to use hands free as intended.But it worked for large dogs. It’s durable and didn’t get tangled easily.

I thought it was different
Very soft and ply-able. Just long enough to wrap around my waist and yet have a dog at the end. No reflectiveness(which was fine for us) As for build quality, it’s OK but not what I thought it was. This isn’t a handle type which is fine. It has plastic on it though which isn’t good for the dogs I have.
