Also, dogs with white or thin coats and dogs with light-pigmented noses and eyelids are also more at risk for sunburn.

Hah, flavor was one of the possible ratings. I gave that a high rating along with all the rest, haven’t tried it personally but the dogs have to be told not to helpfully remove it from the one who needs it so…. 😀 For this and other obvious reasons, ingredients are so very important! Very good information available on this product, and non-toxic. Unlike non-canine products!!I’ve purchased a few tubs of this over the last few years, it’s simple to apply and I can visibly see that it helps. Our terrier-ish mix has a thick coat everywhere but the bridge of her nose. There’s a spot where hair is almost non-existent, white but visibly pinks up in the sun now that she’s older. Stays unchanged in color with the application of this great cream. She knows the routine, present the nose politely = charging out into the yard. Not before the kisses the instructions say to end with lol, kind of cool feeling like they love my pooches too <3

Great product!
We have a red nose pittie and he gets sunburnt on his white nose and ears sometimes. When we went to the river this past weekend I knew I needed to figure something out if he’ll be in the sun all day, so I tried this product and it did NOT disappoint! He stayed safe from the sun with this balm, and he loves the taste of it too so it doesn’t bother him! I do not recommend letting your dog eat the balm, but if they get a little lick of their nose its not repulsive for them. I rub his snout and his ears every couple hours and no sunburn or irritation! A little does go a long way which makes the product last longer too so I love it!
