Kid proof (I hope)
I have a very smart 5 yr old autistic grandson. We take him to a special school about 45 minutes away. I switched him from a carseat with a 5 point harness to a booster seat using the car seat belt. He quickly learned to unbuckle himself while I was driving on the 70 mph interstate! When I got him to school I sat in the parking lot searching for a solution and came across this. It is working beautifully so far but he has now seen how it works. The challenge will now be to make sure he doesn’t have anything (keys, screw driver, plastic knife …) within reach that he can use to unlock the seatbelt.Update: It has been a few months and it is a great detergent.

My son is 9 years old and has level 3 autism. We haven’t had to use these in a while so we lost the old ones that we had so I bought these ones and they work perfectly. They are less difficult for me to get the seat belt unlocked unlike the other ones that I have boughten before in the past. We have both a big SUV and a small sedan and they fit perfectly in both so I’m assuming it would work well in any size vehicle.

If this product is necessary then it fits the bill
I have a teenage autistic child who has to sit in the front seat for safety reasons and of course the passenger door of my 2021 BMW 530i is not equipped with a child lock switch on the door. However, my kiddo likes to open the car door at any given time and speed. So, if you are in a situation where this type of product is needed it is a great choice and much easier to use than the similar (red hard plastic) product I have bought on Amazon. Love the Tiffany blue color too.

Perfect solution for dog stepping on buckle release
I have a harness for my dog that connects to the seatbelt to keep her safe and restrained in the car, but she kept accidentally stepping on the buckle release and getting loose in the backseat, making the whole setup slightly useless. These have fixed the issue perfectly – she hasn’t gotten loose once since installing them. It was a bit of a struggle to fit it over the seat buckle in one of the 2 cars I tried them in, but the material was flexible/stretchy enough to eventually get it on with a minute or two of effort. No need to bother with the keychain attachments, they will open fine with a regular key e.g. a house key.

Keep the child safe
Very useful when the child knows how to remove the seatbelt off, but wish that they change the release tool longer or change it to a key shape with the tip so you can use your own key ring instead of a smaller ring which after a few use it breaks off your keychain.Using the flat modern key to disengage the seatbelt instead or cut an old house key a flat head so I wonât damage the car key tip.

Was absolutely impressed with product. It comes with a release key that you have to push into another slot to release seatbelt but it doesnât take too much time to release and the beauty about it, my mother who has Alzheimer’s and constantly removes seatbelt while we are driving can no longer release the button on her own. The product just slips on over buckle and can be removed easily enough for any other passenger that doesnât require it.

Unlike other buckle guards I have purchased (Houdini) these worked with the seatbelts in my Toyota corolla due to the cut out in the design which enabled the belt to be done up. Kept my dog from undoing the seatbelt. Need to use the supplied key to open the buckle.
