I love this pump!
I just recently had my baby, and I bought the mom cozy wearable pump and I love it until I got the motif Luna! It is definitely my go to pump. I use the mom cozy when I am out and about

Buyer beware
I started using this pump at the end of August. 5 months later it stopped holding a charge and will only work plugged in. I reached out to Motif Medical and was informed the manufacturers warranty does not apply as this seller is not an authorized retailer. All this to say beware who you buy this pump from. Now Iâm going to have to buy a new one, and Iâll just purchase directly from Motifâs website. I reached out to this seller and thereâs nothing they will do about it. Iâm sure they sold me a refurbished product since it stopped working shortly after I bought it. Buyer beware.

Life saver
This pump is soooo good. I originally got a horrible pump in style max flow Medela thru my insurance. It didn’t suction me at all. I don’t get why since it’s a much higher price than this one. Medela even sent me a second one, but that one didn’t work either! I’m guessing that one just doesn’t work well with larger cups.So for the first 6 months of my post pardum, I used a hospital grade pump. Afterwards, when I needed to switch over to a home pump, I decided to buy this one out of pocket since it has worked for me really well for my last pregnancy and my insurance wouldn’t cover for me to get a different pump. This pump is just as good as I remember! It’s actually even better since I am comparing it to that one that didn’t work. This one is almost as good as the hospital grade. I highly recommend. This is my second pregnancy using it and both times I was very happy

Reliable
It may be big and bulky but the night light is great. Get the collection cups it’ll save your hands. It’s the only pump I’ve had that hasn’t died. Get the rechargeable battery one. It lasts.

It works great but missing parts
So it works great , great section. I like the pump so far but it came in a Ziploc bag inside the motif box very un-professional and had missing parts. One bottle was missing ,one flange ,and one of the white piece that goes inside the bottle was missing. Also the peices that were there, were very dirty… like disgustingly dirty. I had to scrub them multiple times and sanitize them before using. But it’s a good pump… just be prepared to buy extra and new parts.

Does the job well
Update: I actually love this pump now and it’s the only one I use anymore. It took me a little bit to find my perfect settings. Here’s what I found – it does empty me well and the suction is stronger than the spectra – it just took me a little bit to find my perfect settings. So I’ve been an exclusively pumping mom for both of my boys for medical reasons so I know how hard it is to decide on the right pump. With my first son, I had the medela freestyle pump. I loved its portability but that’s it. It hurt so much to pump and I loathed every second of it. I realize now, I had too big of shields so I sized down this time to have a portable option and it’s still super painful. This time around I went with a spectra s2. I LOVE my spectra. It isn’t painful at all and almost comfortable. The only thing is that it is large and there’s no battery. I decided to splurge for this pump to have a portable one as well. The motif luna I received was a lemon. I called customer service and they got me a new one and it arrived within two days. They were amazing to deal with! Anyway, the pump is rather large to what I was thinking it would be for a portable. But I just put it into a smaller purse to carry it around. The pump is nice. I’ve seen people say they get more milk in less time. I don’t think that’s true in my case. My spectra is amazing at getting milk out. But this pump is comfortable, especially if you have more sensitive breasts. The suction on the highest setting isn’t quite as powerful as my spectra but it does the job well. I also love that I can use my spectra parts!

Little powerhouse, quicker pumps
I was anxious that my boobs wouldn’t respond well to this pump after loving the symphony for my past 2 babies and five days in hospital after #3 (it has much faster cycle rates). However, I’m 10 days postpartum with baby #3, exclusively pumping for the second time, and this pump empties me faster than symphony and I’m over producing. This is my stationary primary pump, I also use ameda mya as a cordless mobile option. I much prefer the luna for efficiency and power. I love all the suction speeds and strengths it offers. I do wish the stimulation mode offered greater suction and speed but it’s fine. I got an adapter so I can use medela parts and it works like a dream. So glad I chose this pump over the very pricey sonata or symphony. It gets the job done and does it very well. The only thing I’d ask for is a rechargeable battery for this pump and faster stimulation cycle rates as an option (70-120cpm would be very nice). I’ve never used spectra so I can’t compare the two but I’ve heard this one offers greater stimulation but is still gentle.
