My Doberman loves these
I recently purchased one of these for my Doberman, who is notorious for tearing apart anything that isn’t made of extremely hard rubber or plastic. This was the second one I had bought her so, to be honest, I went into this purchase fully expecting the toy to be destroyed within a couple of hours. However, I got it on sale, so I figured it was well worth the price to watch her enjoy herself for a day. From the moment I handed the toy to my Doberman, her eyes lit up with excitement. She grabbed it and immediately started playing with it, tossing it around and shaking it with all her might. It was a joy to watch her have so much fun with something new, especially knowing how tough she is on her toys. The toy itself was made of a softer material, and I knew it wouldn’t stand a chance against her powerful jaws. But for that short period, it brought her immense happiness. She chewed, gnawed, and tugged on it with sheer delight. It was as if she had discovered a new favorite pastime, and I could see how much she enjoyed the different textures and shapes the toy offered.Sure enough, by the end of the day, the toy was in pieces. But the joy and entertainment it provided were priceless. Watching her interact with it, seeing her tail wagging and her ears perked up in excitement, made the purchase entirely worth it. Even though it didn’t last long, the fun she had was well worth the cost.I appreciate that sometimes, the value of a toy isn’t just in its durability but in the happiness it brings, even if only for a short while. For those brief moments, my Doberman was fully engaged and entertained, and that made the toy a great investment. If you have a dog that loves to play and you don’t mind a bit of destruction, this toy is definitely worth considering, especially if you can catch it on sale. Just be prepared for a lot of fun and a bit of a mess afterwards!Overall, I would recommend this toy to anyone with a playful, energetic dog who loves to chew and destroy. It might not last forever, but the joy it brings in the meantime is absolutely priceless. Plus, watching your furry friend have the time of their life is always a wonderful experience. So go ahead, treat your pup to a day of fun â it’s worth every penny!

Surprisingly Sturdy
I got this during a sale, thinking it was just going to be torn up in a day or 2 (he tore up lamb chops within a day). Surprisingly, it is still mostly intact and my dog loves it and carries the toy everywhere.Right now there is only a small tear in the toy’s head (months after buying it). I’d highly suggest this toy.

Good dog toys
They are not super durable. Any dog that destroys toys will fly through these, but at cheaper prices of a few dollars, they are fine as a treat.

Fun to shake around but the stitching will come undone at spots
I ordered the 18″ one for my 2 year old pit bull and received a yellow toy. So far she’s been loving it since two parts of it make noise and she loves to shake it like crazy once in a while. I don’t know why but I like it when dogs do that too. I guess for some reason I think they’re really having fun when they’re doing it although I know instinctually they’re doing it to kill a small rodent.Initially a small break in the seam occurred at the tail end but I stitched that up. It’s not the sturdiest thing so you shouldn’t leave your dog chewing on it and she tore up one of the toy’s paws so I stitched that up. In a week another tear showed up in the middle right along a seam so I stitched that up. Sure it’s not the sturdiest but once it’s stitched up it’s still a perfectly fun toy. As long as the squeakers don’t break I’ll be happy and I’ll just keep stitching things up.

Terrible dangerous dog toy
My dog is NOT an aggressive chewer yet less than 24 hours of giving this toy to her, a seam popped open and one of the squeakers WRAPPED IN PLASTIC (see arrows) was hanging out. This is dangerous and a piece of garbage. DO NOT BUY!!

There are worse things to spend your money on.
So I’ve come to believe that the success of a dog toy depends about 30% on how well the toy is made and about 70% on what your dog is into. If your dog likes to cuddle, chase, nibble, hump, toss around and shake their toys, then this toy is pretty great, as dog toys go. They are pretty big, made of reasonably sturdy material for those purposes and have a couple of different squeakers inside to make it interesting. They’re also really inexpensive. If, however, your dogs are like mine and like to shred, disembowel, play tug-o-war with, and basically maim their toys into unrecognizable piles of garbage, then this toy is like all the other plushy, stuffed, squeaky toys on the planet and will not stand a chance of survival for longer than a few minutes. I have two pitties and they LOVE stuffed toys. I mean, LOVE THEM. But I have come to terms with the fact that no stuffed toy will survive in my house for more than a few minutes and I will be picking up stuffing and bits of cloth until they depart this earth (and probably for months after that – it’s EVERYWHERE).That being said, they had a blast annihilating these toys. I bought four, gave them two tonight, and 11 minutes and 35 seconds later was picking up the remains…..and that’s with my kids and I making them “leave it” periodically so we could throw them and make them fetch a few times. I’d say it was a waste of money except I can see how much the pups enjoy playing with stuffed toys and they don’t play as enthusiastically with ropes or Kong rings or anything else. So, for $7 on a Thursday night, we all get some great entertainment, even if it doesn’t last long. There are worse things to spend your money on.
