0.3 TOG for hot summer nights
This is my first sleeper with a rating of a 0.3 TOG.I have purchased muslin sleepers, but the manufacturer stated that they were 0.5 TOG which seemed crazy, as a 100% cotton thicker sleeper was also a 0.5 TOG.I find the muslin cotton the right weight for summer.The flap at the top by the neckline could be slightly bigger, but I was able to tuck and secure the zipper pull in and under the top overlay of fabric to prevent it from rubbing against baby.The zippers worked adequately.I always go a size up. When I first put baby in a sleep sack the sack seemed way too big. But as baby kicks, and has more leg control to move about, you will want a larger size I got way bigger as it will bunch up under baby’s knees and when baby crawls, pulls up, or stands. To me, bigger is better than too small.Price seems to be competitive. Usually in a two pack there is a bit of a discount for buying 2 at the same time. This type of item can be competitively shopped as there is nothing unique about muslin fabric.As long as the quality of zippers are good, you should be ok.Note: I do not get paid for my review. Size down
I got the 6-12 as my baby is 8 months old and meets the weight and length for this size. It is so big on her. The neck hole is too big to where I feel it can go over her face. I tried it on before washing so I am hoping it will shrink a little. It is lightweight and soft and she loves this material.
