My Doodle loves them!
5 year old Mini Labradoodle & picky, overly protective owners review: These Yaks are helpful as I try to stimulate my smart and spunky doodle as much as possible for her energy levels and her love to chew. She destroys toys easily as she likes to gnaw at one area repeatedly, if yours is similar these help! Good for teeth cleanliness and strengthening. They seem hard, but Iâve had no issues and thereâs a trick when it gets too small to heat it up. She loves the taste and gets very excited for them, a high value treat time. Value is better with the 3 pack I purchased, but next time would opt for the bigger bag. She has 3 missing teeth to her front side due to a previous accident with chipping them and needing them surgically removed, so I was reluctant, but no issues here so far. The noise of her chewing sounds worse than any issues caused (sounds hard). I recommend! If any issues present will update if possible on app. Love that they are more natural than alternatives and donât smell like bully sticks. Last a while in distracting – occupying her. Best treat ever
I have two small dogs and I bought the medium size sticks. Both my dogs really enjoy them.No more stinky breath like they do when chewing on bully sticks. They don’t get gooey or sticky and they last for weeks. They stay hard even if left outside in the rain. Best dog treat ever!

Our dog LOVES these. They last a while, and you can microwave the small piece thatâs left into a cheese PUFF so that the dog doesnât choke on the hard chew. SO COOL!!!

A bit disappointed in our most recent order.
**update 11/15** Native Pet reached out directly and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they took my feedback seriously and took steps to resolve the issue. We love Native Pet and have gotten several other products that our pup not only enjoyed but also all did what they say they do. Native Pet does make high quality goods for pets and we will continue to be customers. I did not enjoy writing my 3 star review but I wanted to make sure that the brand that we love was aware we didnât get what we were expecting for the first time in over a year of purchasing. Iâm upping my review to 4 stars, but please know that these yak chews are seriously amazing if you can ensure you get the right size for your dog!!âPrior reviewâBefore our most recent order I would have given these 5 stars. We have been buying these yak chews since we adopted our rescue girl in July 2022. These are by far the best âbonesâ we have been able to find since they are fully edible and can transform into crunchy treats when they get to the end of their life, and they do not upset our babyâs tummy. We love these and have the 3 pack on auto ship. However, our most recent order received on 11/9 is a disappointment.We originally bought the medium chews when we first got our dog because she is medium sized and 45-50lbs, but she turned out to be a big chewer. The medium were too small for her and she was able to bite off large chunks and go through them too fast. We switched to the large which have always been thicker and just a little bit longer so she went through them a little slower and couldnât get as many big chunks off.Our 11/9 order contained what appears to be the same size as the medium chews, which we donât get anymore for the reasons stated above. I added a photo of what we received next to pieces left from our prior order. You can clearly see the pieces from the prior order are thicker (circled in green). I didnât spend $28 to get medium sized yak chews. I understand they can all be slightly different sizes even within the same package, and we sometimes get thicker/thinner/darker/lighter chews, but these are just very SMALL compared to the other large chews weâve received over the past year. It seems strange that I would suddenly need to start purchasing the extra large chews to get the same substantial size as the large ones I was getting before, unless thereâs been a change in the product design itself.I really hate leaving negative reviews. I prefer to only leave reviews when I have a great experience because I think itâs important to share those things rather than complain. If I really have an issue, I usually reach out to the seller if I can. In this case, I canât find a way to contact the seller to ask if there was a change in the product or if this was an error but I guess I can go through an Amazon customer service rep if needed. This product canât be returned which is typical of food-like items, but I would like to know why this order seems so inconsistent from what weâve gotten in the past.

Ability to contact seller regarding quality is impossible with Amazon
I have been on subscribe and save on these yak chews every month for three years. I have never had an issue the quality is always superior. The first two photos are of my recent order, there is no scenario in which I would give my dog this product, I knew as soon as I opened the package something was off, a strong smell of mold and decay emanated from the package. The last photo is how these treats usually appear. These are not cheap treats and I have gladly purchased due to the quality and health benefit for my dog. . My frustration lies with Amazon not allowing me to directly contact the seller to rectify this quality issue. When attempting to request a replacement/return Iâm sent in a perpetual loop of this seller does not allow returns. I would surely believe a quality issue would be replaced by any reasonable seller. Iâm hoping this review will be seen by the seller and we can open a dialogue regarding this, otherwise Iâm out the cost of these treats and they will lose a loyal customer.

Keeps our pup busy
These seemed expensive for what you get. But our 9 month old Yorkie chews on these things about every day. One stick will literally last him a couple weeks. We call it his chewie stick, and every evening when he starts to get tired and restless like a kid who doesn’t want to go to bed, he’ll usually find his chewie stick and chew on it for a bit. It’s very firm like a piece of plastic, and doesn’t get gooey like bully sticks and some other long lasting snacks. Only negative is sometimes it breaks in a couple pieces and then they are too small for him to hold it and chew it, like 1″ long. So we end up throwing it away. But they keep him interested and we will definitely buy more.

Best distraction
I have a 13 year old mini pin,an 8 year old maltese and a 6month old mini ween, and let me tell you these are a life saver. Didn’t think the oldest would be interested but she took right to them and it stopped my puppy from chewing my laundry basket. 10/10 will buy again.
