Works great but my dog found bottle and ate it!
Our dog has the scratchiest pads. She was tearing us up when she was on the couch with us. Felt like sandpaper. This lotion really helped and it does soak in fast and doesn’t even feel greasy on your fingers after rubbing it on them. It doesn’t last that long though. We had to reapply every few days but the pad were softer. Unfortunately we came home to a flattened chewed up plastic thing the other day. We didn’t know what it was until now. She took the bottle off coffee table and ate all the contents and then turned it into a chew toy. I never thought that would happen. I ordered another and will never leave it out again. I hope the ingredients are really safe. A few days of the runs and she’s ok but could have been bad.

Great product, but very thick!
UPDATE on January 28, 2021: I was just reading through more recent reviews and saw one that was very helpful from the standpoint of being easier to use than in its original squeeze bottle. If you have a jar (like one for moisturizing lotion for people), make sure it’s totally clean, then put this product in it. It will go a long way to being easier to apply! Original Review: This is a thick cream, one that offers a lot of bang for a little bit of product application. I’m using it on both a dry nose and on one dry foot pad. It is working very well on both!

Good product
I bought this to alleviate my dog’s hyperkeratosis on her paw pads. This product is lotion-like in consistency (maybe slightly thicker). It can be a little difficult/messy to apply to paws thoroughly. My solution was to fill a small container with enough to fully cover the paw pads and have my dog step in it. After, I rubbed the cream in to speed up absorption. For best results, I suggest applying daily. I had trouble sticking to it but still noticed improvement in the softness of her paw pads after a week or so.Note: My dog loves lotion, so I had to distract her with peanut butter.

Nice lotion — a little goes a long way + no odor
Edit: After using this for a few weeks, my dog became averse to me putting it on his nose, and it wasn’t helping either. I switched to Vitamin E oil, and his nose has been rapidly healing with that. He also doesn’t mind it being applied and enjoys licking up the remainder which is surely good for him.I won’t purchase this lotion again. I will use it on my own hands when they get dry.Original Review:I just used this on my pooch for the first time and am pleasantly surprised. Someone mentioned a peach smell in their review, but I don’t detect any odor. Perhaps they have updated the formula? It applied easily to Chico’s nose and also went on easily to a few spots where my old guy’s hair is thinning and the skin was dry. It has a nice consistency — not too thick, but substantial. A little goes a long way. I’ll grease up his paws before bed. He has a couple cracks in his paws, so I hope this helps. Just having a dog-specific lotion gives me more confidence that I will use it on him. That said, I rubbed the extra bit into my own dry hands. It felt very nice, soaked in quickly, and was nongreasy with no scent.

First paw balm my dog cooperates with
Since puppy-hood, my dog isn’t into having any sort of paw balm applied, which is saying something considering she’s let me put eyedrops in her eyes.I decided to try this because it doesn’t have a strong scent. I like the texture because I’m able to very quickly (as I’ve said, my dog isn’t traditionally a fan of salves/balms/lotions for her paw pads so she gets wiggly) spread some of this balm in the palm of my hand, then, during a belly rub, apply it to her paw pads. Her paws are looking MUCH better (we usually describe her paws as “cracked a** paws”) and she’s spending less time grooming and nibbling on her paws. I’ll definitely re-purchase once this runs out.

IT WORKS GREAT!
We noticed our dog’s nose feel a bit rough and she had been scratching so much the hair around her nose was gone, so we figured we would try this cream before making a vet appointment- it cleared up after putting the cream on twice a day for two days. 10/10 highly recommend ðð»

So far so good!
I bought this product just to mainly pamper my fur baby! Her paws don’t get too dry but with winter coming I just wanted her to have that extra moisturizer. We have only used it a few times since purchasing but I love the smell, it’s not super oily and I have not noticed any discomfort or irritation. I will update my response the more we use it if anything changes but I think this product is going to continue to be a good one! I definitely recommend and will be buying again when we run out.
