More gauze than muslin feel
The blue is the perfect âbaby blueâ color and that was what I was looking for. I would say the fabric is more of a gauze feel than a muslin. It is also multiple layers as opposed to a tradition one layer muslin blanket. Iâm keeping it for color, it is also very soft and has more of a plush feel because of the multi layer.Itâs a bit smaller than other muslin blankets, perfect for burping and swaddling newborns but I think baby wonât be able to be swaddled for long in this size.Also keep in mind itâs suggested wash is hand wash, hang dry. Who has time for that with a baby? I did wash in cold water and dry on low and so far so good. Iâm ok with a little more shrinkage if I donât have to hand wash.
