My Dog’s favorite toy……until he kills it
This is my dogs aboslute favorite toy, it holds up great to Tug, he LOVES tug with it and to fetch it. The football portion will tear off first as a result of playing TUG. But the braided rope will live forever….until you turn your back and your dog sits with it gets to just chew it for a while. Then it will shred and die. But that’s part of his fun. So I let it happen after a while, but if you dont’ let them sit and work at it, it will live and it’s phenomenal! Plus not too expensive!

Made my dog’s very happy!
This is an awesome tug toy for my 2 dogs! Such good value! Unfortunately, they both love to kill squeeker balls, and killed that part within a day maybe 2. This toy is awesome and if you’re dog is kind to squeaker balls, it should last much longer. The rest of the toy is in perfect shape, super tough! We just found the ball end wasn’t as tough, with my ball obsessed dogs. I’m just going to cut that end off and they will have a great lasting toy!

Good, but not tough enough
Love the woven body. Gives it a realistic snake motion and prevents easy shredding by the dogs. However, the little strands that make the forked tail were destroyed in one day. Not just by our big dogs, but even a 4 month old lab. Granted, she has the same “take-it-apart” mentality as her parents, but I was surprised to see it go so quickly.

Good toy but not so much for a BIG Tugger…
My dog absolutely loved this toy… He liked the squeak in the football and that he could whip it around and toss it about however, the football detached from the long end and then it stated to fray apart. He was upset when we had to throw it away because it was his go to toy. Good toy just maybe not for tough tug and chewers.

If I could give 6 stars I would
We have a GSD who is very hard on her toys. This toy has lasted the longest of any of them. Of course, the squeaker was the 1st thing to go. This is good for Tug-a-war because it’s extremely sturdy. It’s excellent for throwing because the weight of the football head makes it fly far through the air. This is an outdoor toy which lives on the porch. As I said, it’s lasted very long. I already bought a replacement which is still in it’s packaging.I totally recommend this toy.

Comes apart at the seams!
This is the third toy for my dog. First one lasted four months. It was a gift. Our dog, Charlie, loved it! I purchased a second one and it fell apart the first day. I returned it and purchased another one and it fell apart in Less than two days. They all came apart at the seams. The first one lasted a long time versus the other two. I don’t know if the manufacturer has changed or what the Issue is. It’s too bad, because my dog really loves this toy. I will Attempt. to return it yet again and purchase it one Last time. I hope Nerf Can listen to Its consumers and improve this product and make it last as advertised. It’s a great toy. I hope the next one I purchase For the last time lasts Much longer. If it doesn’t, I give up!

The football is worthless but the braided part is amazing
I just cut off the football when I get it and throw it away since otherwise I just end up with fluff everywhere. they need to find another solution or just give me an extra 5 inches of rope.My dog absolutely loves to play with the rope/snake part, she is totally dangerous to be around when whipping it about but she loves it so much I accept the danger.

The stitching is not that great
We have only used this for a couple of times and it’s already falling apart! The stitching is not that great, it’s only four holding it to the rope so any tugging that it’s made for and it’s gonna fall off. The rope is doing good hasn’t fallen apart yet so meh.

My dog DESTROYS toys. There will be stuffing and ripped fabric all over our living room within 5 minutes of providing her a toy. We had bought this item previously at PetSmart and it had held up for over a year with continuous play. She loves it! Bought this one off amazon as its significantly cheaper than in pet stores.

I have 2 large dogs and I bought 2 of these. The nerf ball part was destroyed in minutes but the rope part lives on. They play tug a war and chase each other to steal it. Durable, washable! I really like these.
