I love this Dog coat! It is the easiest coat to put on and take off. Her last coat was Velcro and was hard to get off and on. It gives her the most freedom of movement too. I thought she was having trouble because she is 17 but not with this coat. I am so thankful she loves it too. Fits well, great zipper and zipper support and cover that keeps the zipper from coming in contact with her fur when zipping it up. Covers her chest more than the Velcro strap she had before. Thank you so much for doing such a great job making this beautiful sturdy coat.

Warm!
This coat is very nice. It is warm for my dog, the built in harness is a great feature. But it’s a little long. I followed the instructions in measuring and the size fits his girth well, but is long enough that he wets it. I have to spot wash. But it would work for a larger thinner dog. I’m not complaining, though. It’s really a good coat.

A nicely-made coat, easy to get on and off
I bought this in medium for my 8-lb, 7-month-old cairn-mix puppy. It is a nicely-made coat, well-designed. It is fleece-lined (though out of the bag the fleece could be a bit softer; hoping washing will help this), with a parka-like outer shell that should resist wind and wet. The medium fit her well, being just a little roomy, which will allow for future growth during the winter season. I especially liked that the straps to the harness clip were fully adjustable, as out of the bag they were too long, but can be loosened as she grows. The zipper also worked smoothly, making it easy to get the coat on and off. The zipper has a little tab pocket by the neck to prevent the zipper from working open.

I bought this for our YorkiePoo, she’s got long legs but she’s approximately the size of a miniature poodle but lighter, taller than a Yorkie, fairly thin about 8lb She’s almost 14 now and feels the cold more with age. I have to layer clothes on her now for Southern Ontario’s winters or she won’t go for walks, also when she’s wearing tight coats so I tried to go a bit bigger on this one and got an Extra Large. Her measurements were In between L and XL, I picked the bigger size and it worked! She can have with 2 layers under and because it’s adjustable it’s fine and comfortable. It’s a bit wide at the top if worn with only a thin sweater or nothing under it, like on the picture with green grass. I would have bought a Large when she was younger and didn’t need extra layers. It’s a great coat which is warm and comfy. I think she’s less scared to go out in freezing cold now because she feels warmer and more comfortable. I noticed the difference right away this January when it got cold. I also did not want to have to put on a harness under or over a thick coat because it was evidently uncomfortable because and this one had a built in harness making it quicker to put on. I do use a large carabiner clip to make it even quicker to attach but it’s not absolutely necessary.This is mainly a snow coat, good for cold weather but in a pinch it will still work on wet snow or light rain, but it’s not 100% waterproof, maybe just a bit water repellent.I definitely recommend this coat for a cold winter.

Bought this for my Adventure Cat, it fits him well and is very comfortable and warm in the colder months.It’s a shame the zip doesn’t live up to the same quality of the rest of the product so did have to replace the flimsy zip, after only one month. However we still use it alot and aside from that is great.For what I paid I did expect the zip to be better quality but that may be a flook

Girth of the dog is 15 which is the biggest for small and the smallest for medium. Got medium. The girth is fine. There is a little snap which would be the girth measurement but I can’t close it. He doesn’t have a big tummy but I can’t get it closed.Needs to have a tummy measurement too.Cute for sure and seems nice and warm.Was concerned the zipper might be hard to do up with his curly tail but not really. It’s just hard to do up on your own because I can’t pull the end back – BUT remember this is a bit too small for him. A right fit might not have any issues.
