No more itchy red paws
My dog developed a constant desire to chew her front feet. They were becoming red and sore. I tried a few home remedies but they weren’t working. Along with this hemp salve I got some dog socks to keep them covered while using the salve.This salve is nice smelling and a little thick which I like. I was able to wrestle her paw away and apply it to the bottom of the paw and in between her toes. Then I placed dog socks on her. She wasn’t happy with me and I had to watch her to make sure she didn’t tear the socks off. She got used to the routine after a couple of days. I noticed improvement in the condition of her paws the next day. I think she gave up ov trying to chew her paws but at the same time it didn’t seem to be bothering her either. After using this religiously for five days her paws were healed enough to take the socks off. She didn’t chew her paws I’m guessing because they weren’t bothering her. I do not know what brought on the paw chewing but this salve helped to heal her. It lasts long and I didn’t have to use a lot of it. I still have some just in case it happens again. Good stuff. Worth the price for sure.

Works GREAT, smells fantastic!
I know itâs expensive, I canât say whether or not the price is worth it – but I can say, it has worked wonders for my puppy and 6 year old dog. My puppy has had this insanely dry nose and putting this salve on daily for about three days at first, to now only needed every so often when I think of it, his nose is feeling like it should, glistening and soft. I have been sure to put the salve all the way to the very edge of his nose skin, covering it well and even coating it twice, really rubbing it in well. It makes a noticeable difference right away and canât just be licked off. For my older dog, Iâve used it on her paw pads when sheâs kind of laying down and settled for the night – it has also worked wonders there. I canât tell if either one of them feel the difference, but I see and feel the difference for both!The salve arrives a little strange looking because of shipping and different temperatures, etc. but it settles into place nicely once sitting upright for some time. It is more of a solid than not and I imagine this jar is going to last for quite a long while. Iâm glad itâs not in an applicator type encasing because I think my dogs prefer my finger. My dogs never run or try to hide from me when they see me going for the jar (unlike other things!) and it smells soooooo GOOD!

Makes Sense – but That’s About it.
This seemed like a really good idea – and it actually is. I dipped my finger lightly in the salve and applied it to my dog’s nose, and instantly his nose looked new and updated! BUT – In about 30 minutes it was if nothing ever happened! His nose was back to dry.We have been applying this consistently since we received it about three weeks ago, with no improvement. Actually, it improves for a few minutes, but within the hour everything is back to dry. We also tried it on our 3 yr old hound’s paws, to no avail.I am not sure what to think about this. It seems like a good product and idea, and on first application it seems legit, But it is a struggle using it to keep his nose moist.Overall this salve seems decent. I would probably recommend it to my friends and relatives, with the caveat that it may take some time to notice anything, and rate this three stars.

Clean ingredients
I have 6 dogs, 3 of them being small hairless dogs thatâs suffer from a lot of skin issues and year long allergies. Iâm always on the hunt for something that can help me help them with ouchie hot spots and self inflicted wounds from licking and scratching.I really like that this brand is made with organic simple ingredients! Nothing scarier than slathering a bunch of names you can pronounce all over your precious fur baby. It rubs in pretty good, but I do recommend keeping your dog still and off the applied area until it fully soaks in as itâs a bit greasy in the beginning.The price is 100% worth the quality of this salve. Itâs packaged nicely in a GLASS jar with child resistant lid. A little goes a long way, this should last several years with regular use. Iâm a fan for life of this company!

Great Nourishing Dog Balm
We have tried the CBD liquid from this brand and liked it, so we were curious to see if this balm would work for our dog. We have a French Bulldog and although he doesnât generally have skin issues, every once in awhile he can get some dryness on his nose or paws.Really pleased with how this worked! The packaging is good, the product comes in a dark container with an easy to use lid. The dark container is perfect to keep the essential oil used in the balm stable. The consistency is nice and smooth when applied, with a slight oily feel. It glides on well and does a great job in hydrating my pups nose and paws. The aroma is not overpowering at all, just a nice subtle hint of essential oil.I havenât needed to use it everyday either, just a couple times a week has been working great to keep his skin nice and hydrated.

Great for sore paws!
My pup had a couple cracks on her paw pads. This salve worked wonders and made it more comfortable for her to run and play during the healing process. After a couple days she was good as new! Now that it is getting dryer and colder here, I have been applying every other night to keep her paw pad moisturized. Great product!

Smells great, absorbs quickly
I have used CBD balms and lotions for my pups (and myself!) in the past, and they usually have either a strong earthy hemp smell or a heavy perfume smell to cover the hemp.This balm is *nothing* like that! The carrier oils and waxes they have used blend so well and so smoothly. There is a light coconut-y fragrance and the balm itself absorbs into the skin so well, so I donât feel like my hands are super greasy after I have applied this to one of the pups. I even used some on a patch of poison ivy on my arm, and it soothed the itch within minutes!Love love love this product and will definitely be getting it again when this pot runs out.
