Unbreakable plate
Great plate for little ones. Unbreakable, bouncy plate holds quite a lot if you want it to. Technically it could also be a bowl. Difficult to slide across a table, so itâs unlikely to be scooted to the floor anyway, but if it did, it would bounce instead of breaking. On the heavier side for its size. Really cute design. Easy to clean. Should last a really really long time.

I love Nuby products in general, and these did not disappoint. I ordered the sippy cup, round plate, and rectangle plate. All are cute and made of good quality material. The plates are perfect for kiddos who still drop their plates, as they won’t break, but also heavy enough that it won’t fly off the high chair from a little bump. I think the size is just right for little ones. The cup will open if you drop it, so definitely not spill proof, but at least it won’t break. I do like that they all match, but find it odd that the sippy cup does not fit in the cup section of the rectangle plate. Not a big deal, I have other cups that will fit, but it is silly since these are a matching set.

Safe & Cute for Littles
This plate is adorable and made from nontoxic BPA free silicone, making it a safe choice for all kids. Itâs also top rack dishwasher safe and can be boiled.The base has no suction, so it wonât stick to trays and tables. There are no divided sections for guiding portion sizes, making this plate better suited for snacking on finger foods, or for babies just starting on simple solids.Since our 22-month olds are still having fun grabbing and tossing their plates to get a reaction, itâs a no go for us until theyâre grown out of this behavior. Our go-to is still bamboo plates with silicone suction bases, but I imagine this cutely designed plate would be great for grabbing the attention of older toddlers and perhaps young infants, helping make mealtimes more fun.

Perfect for kittens
I got a couple of these plates to use as food and water dishes for my tiny kittens just starting on solids. The very low 1 inch sides are just the right height for them to be able to reach their heads in. They are also nice and wide so they don’t bump their whiskers. The silicone is way thicker and sturdier than I expected, which is wonderful. The weight and material prevent the dishes from sliding or tipping. It is still flexible, but holds its shape very well. The little whale “handle” makes these easy to pick up to clean out. These will continue to make great little dishes for their soft food as they get older. They, of course, would work well for toddlers too with their little finger foods.

Does not stay in place
I wish this had a type of suction cup on the bottom. Itâs a decent baby plate, but my 8 month tosses this around with ease. Donât recommend for probably the first year and a half.

Nuby pink whale round plate is made of 100% silicone. When I opened the box I was impressed by how nicely this item is packaged. This would make a lovely baby shower gift or a nice surprise for a first time grandma, as she will need it in her arsenal of things to have when the new baby comes to visit.This is a high quality indestructible plate and will stand up to any infant, toddler, or small child. The plate will stay stable on the table due to its weight. The whale design is cute. This is one of those products that is both handy and useful.
