Handy mat for on-the-go use
The Nuby Sure Grip Miracle Frog Mat with Food Pouch has some strengths and weaknesses. The suction isn’t strong enough for our active kiddo, and the food pouch isn’t very effective for our messy eater. However, we use the mat mainly as a sanitary surface, especially when eating outside, and also as a reusable, eco-friendly alternative to disposable mats. The mat is easy to clean, lightweight, and portable, so is great for travel. The cute frog design covers a good-sized area, making it practical despite its limitations. Overall, it’s a handy mat for on-the-go use.

Easy to use and clean
Great suction, stays on the table despite the baby’s best efforts. Very easy to clean and wipe down, but can easily be washed in the dishwasher. Non-toxic, BPA free. Doesn’t smell bad right out of the box. Cute frog design.

Cute but just okay
I hate disposable things that are disposable just for convenience, so I love silicone mats for taking my little one out to restaurants. You can just place it down on the table and have them eat right off of it. You don’t have to worry about how clean the table is or the risk of your kiddo throwing a plate on the floor. I have several just plain rectangular ones, but thought I would give this one a try since it was cute and I was intrigued by the food catcher feature.The shape of the mat and the food catcher basket make it a little awkward to use on certain tables, and the stickiness/suction wasn’t great on some tables. And much like similar bibs, my little one had a talent for dropping food around the catcher rather than in it.Silicone is easy to clean, although, while it says it would be dishwasher safe, I don’t get how you could place it in the dishwasher and have it get clean without having it laid out flat and taking up a huge amount of space. So I tend to handwash mine.This works, but I don’t think it’s any better than my regular rectangular ones.

Cute, functional little froggy feeding mat
This cute little froggy mat works great for controlling messes while feeding my daughter. It also offers a safe and clean surface for her to eat on, instead of having to worry about her eating off of questionable table surfaces. Itâs super portable and easy to just roll up and stuff in my diaper bag. The mat somehow âsuctionsâ to the table surface, ensuring that it stays in place. My daughter has learned recently that she can lift it up, so I am working on discouraging that. After each use, I just throw it in the top rack of my dishwasher so it is clean and ready to use again when needed.

EASILY pulls off table
Looking at the other reviews, maybe the one we got is defective but it does not stay on the table (square or round) on the multiple different surfaces I tested it on. Itâs EASILY pulled off the table by our baby and easily in general. It doesnât stick!!Itâs super cute and rolls up well but pretty useless IMO.
