This product worked great my dog smelled like kennel from before her adoption she now smells amazing and is so soft and shiny! I absolutely loved this product it has no after effects on her either like it itching or rash I will definitely be using this product for her bathes! Makes a Good Lather with a Pleasant Smell
Having tried a multitude of pet shampoos on our scratchy pooch, I was hopeful that this anti-itch shampoo from Pura Vida Pets would be effective. The shampoo is typical in viscosity and lathers up well and provides good deep cleaning for your pet’s fur. The smell isn’t too overpowering which is probably appreciated by most dogs too. The results were a little mixed with our dog, who tends to chew a lot and is very sensitive to bug bites. This didn’t make a huge difference to his scratching behavior but he definitely smells better. We’re in the midst of flea season right now so shampooing does help to eliminate the ones on his fur in the bathtub, but unless you have other measures in place, the fleas will jump right back on. The shampoo is a little higher priced than average at $15.28 for 16fl oz but it does appear to last a longer than other brands we’ve tried. 4 stars.

Great for our pup with sensitive skin
The lighting in my pictures doesnât do this shampoo justice but this really worked great to get my dog clean, fresh and detangled. We have to be careful what we use because of his sensitive skin and this product has been perfect. I really appreciate that itâs both natural and a 5-1 so we donât have to use multiple products to tackle all the jobs we need to get done on his coat. He gets matted easily and this has helped keep his coat soft and tangle free. The smell is perfect too. Not too overpowering but enough to smell pleasant and fresh!

This is an easy-to-use shampoo that rinses easily and leaves a light lavender-ish scent. My concerns are about the ingredients. My dog has many allergies and sensitivities (as do I) and I have to be careful what I feed her and put on her skin. I am unsure about this shampoo.The product page shows pictures of things like coconut and chamomile but the ingredients stated on the actual bottle state “naturally-derived cleaning, conditioning, and moisturizing ingredients” along with aloe extract, oatmeal extract, fragrance, and preservative.What is naturally-derived? Is that from soy or coconut, for example, or? and what are these ingredients? What preservative is used?
